Breast Implants

Published

I was just wondering how you feel about this subject. Do you have them? Would you get them? Have you cared for patients with them and what was your experience? Have you seen any good or bad outcomes?

As a younger woman, I had a lovely set of breasts. No complaints. Then i had kids. Well that was the end of anything decent, they were more like fried eggs:( I felt embarrassed to wear my bikini or anything that would show my eggs:( I have a curvaceous figure but that just looked out of place as i also have broad shoulders. I didnt want to look like a man so i had it done. Not gigantic ones, just ones that look the same as before except I guess they sit a little better without a bra:) I feel good about them for me. I do hate it when guys like to speculate about if they are 'real' or not. It is none of their damn business and if they had half a brain I am sure they could think of better things to think about.

I like them as now my WHOLE body is in proportion again, just like before:)

i was chating with one of the girls at work....well she's 47 and i asked here would she ever consider implants and she said she wouldnt but like you said after women had had kids and things may not be were they once were they might but to have it done in there late teens or early 20's would be crazy. and i dont think guys can think of anything else......:chuckle

I don't mind it when someone refers to breasts as boobs. It DOES bother me when someone refers to someone (a person) as a BOOB. It is infering that the female breast is stupid or something bad.

We don't go around calling stupid people you "testicle"

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey, now there's an idea, and I think I know where we could start:rotfl:

What a topic for my 1st post. :rotfl:

To all that have and like em, good for you, to those that want em, go for it...to the rest, well different strokes for different folks, no implants here, but a few tats.

And Marie, Tallywacker is such a FUNNY word:rotfl:

But in all seriousness, and if reference to the above quote....why do we call folks NUTS????:rotfl:

Exactly my point!

And what do I have no clue about? The fact that I used RN after my handle and I'm not actually an RN yet?

Most women let themselves go once their married. Kids is just an excuse.

Sorry I will take the RN from my handle.

Until the success rate improves, I would not recommend this sx to anyone.

same as guys........man not cool

So far...EVERYTHING!

My My....well here's my story....I had saline implants in 1988. I liked them then, but in early 2005 one ruptured and I had both replaced with new ones. I got a newer 'style' (shape). I also at that time got a lift, which was really needed in 1988, but I just couldn't affort it back then. I have a ton of scars now, but boy do I have nice BOOBS....hehe! I'm going to be 48 years old in a few weeks and for once in my life I have nice perky breasts!! So I could care less about scars, and neither could my husband of almost 29 yrs. He's happy, I'm happy....and....I was never a barbie doll, never a skinnie little thing. I was normal size then and have more curves now than I care to discuss! But I didn't get them so big that they look out of proportion to the rest of my body. So I say ladies....go for it if that's what you want! And if you don't, then don't do it! But it's certainly made me happy, especially this last 'set' I got!

True! I see a lot of out of shape men too, but more overweight married women.

Excuse me BlingBling? Are you implying I'm overweight? I don't believe I said that. What rock did you crawl out from under?

Not at all. That was an "in general" statement.
