Hi everyone,

i'm currently looking where i could have my bls, acls, and ivt training? Do you know any centers or hospitals which offers training this month? any idea how much also? Pls specify if it is for bls, acls or ivt training.

thanks

try asking philippine national red cross... go to the nearest chapter... or go to philippine nurses association... though I strongly recommend philippine national red cross if you're in tight budget.

iv training.... :) ask ansap. Registering for IVTraining will take you a month to wait for the actual training... the practicum is another thing. I also suggest you try to study a week before your training about IVT insertion, setup, TPN, BT procedures...

does anyone know another website for reference?:coollook:

Please try to visit the HEART Foundation of the Philippine Heart Center they are conducting BLS, ACLS every month... for IVT you can also visit the ANSAP office in Lung Center so that they can advise you as to where is the IVT for this month

I recommend CCNAPI for BLS and ACLS. =)

I had a great time at Red Cross, but it took so long before I got my certificate.. and the wait was even longer for the BLS ID.

I don't know much about IVT Trainings nowadays. I had my seminar and completion at UST Hospital early this year and was lucky to get slots for the next scheduled training, but I hear that now, the registration is already quite backlogged and it might take months before one can actually start.

BLS Training: I recommend Philippine National Red Cross.. The training fee is P450 for 2 days.. You can inquire at the nearest chapter in your area for the schedules.. As for the Rizal chapter, they conduct BLS trainings every week.. That's what i knew..

ACLS Training: HEART Foundation, which is located at the Philippine Heart Center, offers the BEST ACLS training.. The fee is P3,500 for 3 days, but im telling you, it is WORTH IT, i guarantee you.. You will really learn a lot.. However, BLS and ECG Recognition seminar are prerequisites for the said training.. It doesn't matter where you took the 2 trainings..

IVT: You can inquire at the ANSAP office.. :)

to my fellow nurses who are in search for agency/ training centers that gives training on BLS and ACLS... please make sure that the BLS/ACLS programs that the program they offer has really an accreditation. Beware of those training centers who are saying that they are an accredited training centers of blah blah blah..because we are here in the philippines and we really dont know if their program is really accredited abroad.

Its so easy to say stuff like that... better go for the training centers who has a good reputation. Go for training centers like the Philippine Heart Center and Philippine National Red-Cross, without a doubt this agencies are really recognized here and abroad.... You might say that the trainings in PHC are expensive, but always think of their institution. Same as with PNRC.

just a friendly advise...

what? 1k? and it's just for down payment? i thought it's only 600 for BLS alone, not so sure how much if first aid is included. i even had my BLS at PNRC for just 300, the CSR for safety services told me that it's only 300 for volunteers.

one hint, dont fall for training centers that claim they are accredited or authorized by AHA to conduct these trainings. do your own research first about these institutions. aside from PNRC and PHC, there are other private training centers but make sure they are accredited by the Philippine Heart Association w/c is the counterpart of AHA in the Philippines.

Agree... always make a research before enrolling to any centers... thats the safest thing to do...

God bless us all

Exactly! Do some research with the Review Centers, after all there's no harm when you do research and asked if they are giving IDs that are really accredited. ;)
