Hey everyone! Just starting a thread for this cycle's BAT/ABSN program at Binghamton that's starting next Summer 2021. I've just submitted the SUNY transfer app, but holding off on submitting the actual BAT app for a little while longer. Hoping we can use this thread to talk about the program and post questions like years prior! The deadline isn't until November so it's still way early, but having the thread ready to go doesn't hurt. I'm also applying to Buffalo and Brockport so I'll likely be active in those threads as well! ?

I submitted a personal statement with mine too!

I got the email around 5 pm! I have a 3.75 pre-req GPA and around a 3.6 overall! I have no medical (CNA) experience but I have experience in mental health (I worked on a suicide hotline).

Congrats! That's so exciting. But ugh I'm freaking out now. I'm really hoping more trickle in tomorrow! I really wonder how they're ranking applicants...
I don’t think they really care when you submit your application. They might consider it if it’s a tie between giving the admission between you and another person.
I think GPA is a huge factor. I was told the average age of the accepted pool is 27, which doesn’t seem right. I’m shocked at how many people are accepted right out of undergrad, which is why I think GPA is so huge with getting accepted.

Congrats @HopefulFutureRN1!
@kalebiscuits I'm also freaking out. I had resigned myself to hearing in January-ish but if they're trickling out acceptances like this... waiting feels so much harder! I called admissions this morning and they are still saying that decisions will be out in January/February.
hey guys, I need help so I'm graduating this semester in two weeks from UB, bing accepted my transcript and it said received I check the status thing the next day and it said awaiting. I called admissions and they said I have to wait until I get my fall grades but I'm confused to the fact I know there's people who wll not have their undegraded complete till May. Did anybody else run into this issue?

No I didn't I hope this isn't the case. I have 12 more credits until my bachelors is completed. Maybe call again and ask them?
