Binghamton BAT 2021-2022

Hey everyone! Just starting a thread for this cycle's BAT/ABSN program at Binghamton that's starting next Summer 2021. I've just submitted the SUNY transfer app, but holding off on submitting the actual BAT app for a little while longer. Hoping we can use this thread to talk about the program and post questions like years prior! The deadline isn't until November so it's still way early, but having the thread ready to go doesn't hurt. I'm also applying to Buffalo and Brockport so I'll likely be active in those threads as well! ?

Not sure if that extension will delay decisions! I was hoping the first wave of acceptances would go out in early December based on prior years' threads!

Wow no way. I had no idea applications were extended! I'm going to call this week and see what the situation is. I'd like to know of a decision before January but who knows. Stay tuned for an update from me LOL

Definitely keep us posted!! I was just accepted to Brockport's program and they need their deposit by Dec 14. It would be great to hear back from Bing by then! I was told by folks at Decker that decisions would mostly go out in December and January. Crossing my fingers they start on the earlier side of that!!

Hi everyone! I submitted my application about a month ago and now we patiently wait! I'm currently in my first semester of an associates program but I really want to get into the BAT. This is my second year applying. Good luck to everyone that applied!

I just received the acceptance letter today. This is so early, totally unexpected. They ask to submit the deposit by April 1, 2020, to confirm enrollment. Now I am going to wait for Stony Brook's application to come back.

Congratulations! Did they send you an email? I still haven't heard anything yet. Anxiously waiting!

That’s amazing, congrats! Did they request to see any of your current grades from this semester? And what are your stats if you don’t mind sharing? I’m still waiting to hear something!

Yes, they send an email saying there is an update of the application. They just reminded me that I have to finish Anp 2 before the program starts, nothing was requested from them. I have overall GPA of 3.84 and pre-requisites GPA ~3.9.

Same here. Trying not to admit Bing is my top choice so I won't be too crushed if I don't get in! Just grateful I already have another acceptance. It's been quite the year!!
