Beth Israel Nursing School NYC

Published

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????

Hey Honeycutts,

Thanks, that is really helpful! Sorry to hear about the last 8 questions, but I am sure you did fine, especially if all the others went well!

Mine is on Monday, so just want to get it over with now!

Good luck with the application, and keep us posted!

Thanks

Lily

Good to hear you're confident with your NLN exam Honeycutts.

Triple A, did u wait 2 wks before you got the result? Will they mail the result or call if you pass or fail? Thanks and please advise.

Results were mail to me exactly after two weeks and to the school.

Hello All,

I'm a train wreck applying to PBISN, I submitted my application in Feb, but I take the NLN 6 April...I've been reviewing but not like I should have, I feel like I'v been focusing on my weaknesses- MATH....but not much on anything else. I just hope I dont bomb on things I thought I knew....lol....I wish all of you happy endings and entrances...and hopefully I will see some of you at the end of the tunnel.....one question were the reading passages boring like some in the review book...lol...GreatLuck All !!!!!

Hey guys,

So I had my interview at Beth Israel yesterday (Tuesday) and it was AMAZING!!!!!!! It was sooo chilled out. It didn't feel like an interview at all. The lady who interviewed me was so friendly and nice. It was a very posotive experience. Best of all, she told me that she sees no reason why I wouldn't be accepted!!!!! When I heard that I was flying high lol. She told me I should call her this coming tuesday and she'll tell me informaly if I have been accepted. I have really good feelings about it. YAYYYY!!!!!

hi guys! I just found this thread! wish I would have found it sooner! anyway, I applied very late and am still praying that I'll get in! I also took the NLN in PBISN on 2/11 (shana, I wonder if I saw you- and i'm glad your interveiw went well) I also applied to Touro but I really want to go to BI and hope I get in!

Hi PedRN2B!!!

I'm sure we saw each other at BI at the exam!! When did u send in your application?? At the interview she told me so far they only accepted 15 people, and last week was the first week of interviews, so I don't think you have to worry about applying late. Did you do ok on your NLN? Also I have a question regarding Touro, don't you first have to have a bachelors to go to Touro nursing?

thanks for replying! My high school was very slow with the transcripts and only sent them this week even though I asked them at least a month ago!!!! My boss (a pediatrician) wrote a really breif letter bec he had no time!! Touro doesn't require a BS they don't either have pre-requisits. In fact, they aren't that good about transfer credits. Which is only one of the reasons why I don't want to go there.

oohhh! At BI you want to go to the 2 year program?

yup!!! :) oh, about the NLN score... so I didn't do well because I only started studying the day before bec most of my study time was/ is taken up by pharmacology class I'm doing. My high school grades are good and this semester is my first in college but I should have a 4.0 or close to that when I'm done.

So I didn't either do so well on my NLN my composite score was only 126, but she told me that's good (surprise surprise lol).... and you have an awesome gpa, so that's good....only time will tell :)

Thanks for the reply Triple A. Good to hear that your interview went well Shana.
