Beth Israel Nursing School NYC

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????

So, Shana, after Phillips Beth got all of your stuff, how long did it take for them to call you? They told me they just gave it to the Admissions Committee on April 2nd and I have not heard anything yet :( If you dont mind me asking, what was your NLN score? And did she say that they really concentrate on the NLN scores or look at other things as well? Thanks

Hi Shana, just a follow up on blissgirl's question - After you received your NLN result, how long did it take for them to call you for the interview? Thanks.

Hey! I just got called in for an interview for Monday and I was looking for some pointers. I want to know whether or not they weigh the interview as heavily as all the other components of the application process?

I feel very unprepared. I didn't expect them to call me so soon, since they called me two days after receiving my NLN results. (Quite possibly because I have a 99 percentile.)

Does anyone know what kind of questions they might ask? Is it possible to mess up at this point? :( I'm very nervous.

Hi blissgirl,

Do you mind sharing your NLN scores?

Specializes in ICU.

nursefor2011-

How did your interview go today??? Hope it went well!

Congratulations Lily127:yeah::yeah::yeah:Thats a great score.

It appears as if people who score in the high 90's are

contacted immediately after the school receives the

score. Good Luck ;)

Thanks honeycutts...I will keep you posted, I keep hoping my phone will ring, but nothing yet! Did you get in!? I hope so!

Lily127,

I waiting to receive a call for an interview...wishful thinking.

;)

Hi all!!!

Do you have an idea how long it takes for PBINS to call the applicant for interview?

I took the test on March 16 and received the results 2 weeks after that. Then Beth Israel emailed me on April 17 and said that I have an interview on April 22! I was so happy. I just had my interview yesterday.. I came there 40mins early and the Dean started interviewing me. The interview went on for about 1hr and 40mins haha.. But it was great! I'm hoping for the best.

She said that the board will gather up on May 11 and decide who's gonna get accepted. And they'll send the acceptance letters 2-3 weeks after that. Its a long process so we all just have to be patient.

NurseRica, what were your NLN scores if you don't mind sharing?

Nurserica,

Can you share your scores if you don't mind.
