Hey everyone, I didn't see a thread for this yet so I thought I would start one.

Is anyone else applying to BC for Fall 2014/Winter 2015 cohorts? I'm getting nervous with the deadline less than two months away. I did all my pre reqs there and it's my first choice school which probably adds to the nerves a bit. Are any of you finished with the application process yet? I think it's nice that this year, the background check is after the initial application just for the sake of saving money if I didn't score high enough on my TEAS to get in.

Hello!

I was accepted for the Fall cohort, but was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to ask to switch to the Winter cohort? I just got offered a full time job, but I would HATE to have to quit after only 3 months Would anyone from Winter want to switch spots with me??

kare_bear: I'm not sure if they would allow it but I'm sure there would be people willing to switch spots with you. If I were to get into Winter I would for sure switch spots with you. I'm sure they would probably have to do it by highest TEAS scores to see if those people would be willing to switch. You should call and ask Chie and let us know what she says. I'm sure other people may be in your type of situation.

Kare_bear: I am in winter cohort and I would totally switch spots with you in a heartbeat. I wonder if you asked if they'd switch you with the highest person on the winter list. Maybe!

Just signed up for CMST 280 online in the Fall with Stephanie Hurst. Anyone else planning on taking this course then?

I took it with Professor Hurst, online. Was pretty laid back. Don't let the final project scare you, she gives you a list of questions to answer and it goes fast.

Just got a call saying there is a spot open in fall quarter (I got an 89.3 on TEAS). She said I have til tomorrow to decide.

Oh good, asl! In case any of you are wondering, I didn't accept, so there's definitely that fall or winter spot open. :) Best of luck to you all! It sounds like those of you hoping to get bumped up should be very soon!!

Chie called me yesterday too, and after playing phone tag we finally got to talk just now. I accepted a spot in fall!!!! I can't believe this is happening! :) Congrats ASL! I see that you took a spot too!
