I will be starting my last semester of nursing school in january and i'm excited!!!!
C/o may 2014
who else is with me?!?
As I write this, I have 138 days until I take my final, final exam this coming May. I'm starting 4th Semester in a couple weeks and I really can't wait for it to begin! Of course, there's all sorts of little details that I have to complete even before school officially starts... so it's going to be a busy couple weeks.
This is very exciting because I'm finally approaching the end of a long journey and I'm very ready to begin a new life chapter, back doing patient care, where I truly belong.
Congrats to you kywoodrd. I see you're in Memphis as well!!! Anywho, here are a few tips. Stay focused and PRAYED up. Surround yourself with positive people and remove any negativity that may be in your way. Purchase nclex review books (I just found out about these) Saunders are my favorite. Answer as many questions as possible to help with test taking. The more questions you answer the better. You have to learn the their testing style, because it is soooo different. I hope this helps.
Look at other forums as well. There are a lot of great BEGINNING NURSING SCHOOL TIPS ON HERE!!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!

Congrats!! I finish my ABSN program in May 2014 also; it's been extremely challenging (and tested my endurance for sure) though very rewarding. Attending nursing school provided me a new appreciation and respect for nurses: the time and dedication needed to finish nursing school and the skills needed for the role! Can't wait to get closer to the finish line. High fives "class of 2014"
