  1. Back in February I did not pass my critical care semester. I am absolutely heartbroken. The main reason was work, I work full time to pay for school. I also need my health benefits and money to pay my bills. The course was tough and I spread myself too thin. I have two bad tests which I could not recover from. I will be the first to say full time work and school was not my best choice. I realize now what I should have done and went part time with work. I am hoping the nursing school will see this and let me continue the critical care semester and two remaining semesters I need to graduate. I want to be a nurse in the worse way....just need some support and prayers. Thanks so much for listening
  2. Wishing everyone the best and to reach our goals
  3. Good luck to everyone! Going into my last semester :) it has been a tough road but worth it!
  4. Same here for my school, the advice I got was stay ahead of the game.
  5. I am currently working full time and going to school. I also got the speech about people who work will not do well. What works for me, time management! I make time for studying and all the other clinical paperwork. My job has been able to work around my schedule and that helps a lot. If you have the will you will make it! Keep your head up and best of luck for the future!
  6. I am working and going to nursing school full time. I use my time wisely! It is hard but I make time for school, work and my social life...not much of one...lol! Everyday, I try to study an hour at least to review my notes. My job is demanding and frustrating at times. My social life is slim to none but try to go out once in a great while so I can unwind. Keep focus and know it will pay off in the end! Hard work will get you far and people will see that! Good luck to all my nursing students!
  7. Keep up the good work! Stay positive and forgot the haters!
  8. Keep your head up! I was in the same boat as you. I talked to my professors and ask to go over old tests to see what I was doing wrong. I got help from other students and got in the right study group not a gossip session. I changed my seat in class to stay focused. I wear ear plugs during tests and study in a quiet place which I cannot be interrupted. You can do it!!!
