My GPA for my pre-reqs is 3.9. I got an A+ in BCIT combined A&P course which is 6 credits. Everything else was an A except one English course was an A-. I hope that helps! I am on the top 10 waitlist from April meaning if no spot becomes available by the 8th, I will automatically be placed into the September 2022 class! I haven’t calculated my overall GPA but all my grades are similar to yours except for English which I got B. Hopefully, my grades for Casper and Snapshot is okay ?

Hey Megan, congratulations! It's great to know you're guaranteed a spot ?  Hope to see you in September. Did you have a 3.9 overall or just for the pre-reqs? Oh, and how do you calculate your overall GPA? BCIT only shows me a percentage, not a 4 point scale, so I'm just curious.

I had only done the pre-reqs before applying, I didn’t do any other courses or previous degree. 3.9 was my overall CGPA that I calculated through Langara for my 5 pre-req courses. There’s a few calculators on the internet. Try looking up BCIT GPA scale or calculator. If you look at their scale, you may be able to then figure out what letter grade or percentage they consider for each GPA scale. I hope that helps!!

Hey Megan, Just wondering what extracurriculars did u apply with and how did u do on the casper

I officially got my acceptance letter from being on the wait list from April! I’m so excited to meet all of you ? Can’t wait to hear who gets in for the September intake!
