  1. Congratulations! You no matter what will be starting the BSN program at the latest of January 2023! I was on the top 10 waitlist from April and got an automatic seat transfer to September and now I’m starting soon! I recommend taking Libs 7001 and 7021 in the meantime before you start in January, that’s what I’m doing right now through the Summer before September. Also, plan for the unlikely possibility that a seat will become available for September… I never heard of anyone getting off the top 10 waitlist from April, and now we all are starting in September. You can finally celebrate! ? You have been accepted to BCIT BSN program!
  2. When they send you an email in mycommunication it will say. If you are on the top 10 waitlist, the email will be from BCIT Nursing to your BCIT email and will discuss the next steps to be ready.
  3. It will show on your account balance once it’s processed, it takes a few days!
  4. congratulations on all acceptances so far! ? can’t wait to start this journey with all of you.
  5. Congratulations to you 2! Can't wait to see you both in Fall ☺️
  6. Mine is under my personal email ?
  7. My application status just always said "under department review" until April 15 and then it said "transferred to next semester" and then that same day it changed to "acceptance offered". they definitely are going through the applications now ? offers should start coming out in the next week till June 15.
  8. It will show “acceptance offered”, that’s what mine showed. I don’t know about the rejection part. You will receive a letter in mycommunication that you have been conditionally accepted if you have been. It will then have steps for you to complete by a due date to receive full acceptance.
  9. How did the Casper go? Do you feel good about your results? That was very very quick to receive your results, I got mine like 2 months later.
  10. Is anyone here taking LIBS 7001 and 7021 next week before September start?
  11. It all depends on the school! BCIT looks at all previous post secondary credits. Langara looks at only the 5 pre-requisites. Wishing you all the best in getting in to the fall semester :)
  12. I officially got my acceptance letter from being on the wait list from April! I’m so excited to meet all of you ? Can’t wait to hear who gets in for the September intake!
  13. I had only done the pre-reqs before applying, I didn’t do any other courses or previous degree. 3.9 was my overall CGPA that I calculated through Langara for my 5 pre-req courses. There’s a few calculators on the internet. Try looking up BCIT GPA scale or calculator. If you look at their scale, you may be able to then figure out what letter grade or percentage they consider for each GPA scale. I hope that helps!!
  14. It all depends if someone declines their admission offer. You would be replacing someone else’s spot that they got offered. Sometimes there is nobody that gets off the waitlist.
