Ohhh! Makes sense. It’s going to be a long wait until then ?
Right?! I’m so happy about that.

Hi everyone!
I'm wondering if anyone knows whether submitting your application early increases your chances of admission? Or if all applications are reviewed together after the application deadline passes?
Thanks in advance!

Hey elly, I know some BCIT programs are a first come first served, but the BCIT BSN is a competitive entry program. The applications will all be reviewed at the same time after the deadline (which was early this month I think..?)
Hope this helps ?

Hey! I haven’t taken my CASPer yet - it’s on April 5!
Good luck to everyone!

Thanks so much for this info! This is reassuring because I submitted my application quite late.

Good luck! I took my CASPer, but will be doing my Snapshot soon as well.

Best of luck! I took mine back in February - I’m not sure if you’ve done a Casper test previously but definitely do the practice test beforehand. It really helps to have some idea of what kind of pressure you’ll be under; 5 minutes per scenario is really not a lot of time!

I did mine a week or so after my CASPer - it was… super awkward. Answering interview questions while seeing only your face as feedback is strange to say the least. In actual interviews you can at least gauge the response of your interviewer and adjust accordingly. I definitely stumbled on my words and rambled a bit!

Hi!
I have applied to the September 2022 intake as well! I wish you all the best and hopefully will see you in class ? Admissions said that we will know decisions by June 15th! I completed my Casper and Snapshot back in February and resulted in the 3rd quartile. Crossing my fingers ?

Hi! How long did it take to get the results from casper and snapshot?

Hey, you don’t get results from snapshot but you get your Casper test quartile about a month from when you did it. So if you did it early March you should be getting it soon.

Hey! Yeah, before this thread I was thinking we would know by April or May… oh well!
Good on you for the Casper; I’m sure that’ll help your application a ton ? I see you have healthcare experience too, so I’m sure your chances are pretty good; fingers crossed!

I totally agree with you - it's definitely distracting/awkward when I see my own face on the screen while I talk! Hopefully the admission committee doesn't place too much emphasis on Snapshot as it's probably not that representative of how an individual is as a person!

Hi Megan!
Do you mind sharing your GPA and grades for the pre-req? I was subscribed to the Langara thread and just saw that you were on the top 10 waitlist for Spring 2022 in BCIT.
