BCIT Nursing Sept 2022
I just got my email today, so it's official! Math 12: 94 Chem 11: 95 ENGL: 87 PSYC: 96 BHSC: 95 Casper: 4th Quartile (Taken in February) I want to note that I had customer service experience (~4 years), a (tangentially) related diploma, as well as some years of experience working (non-patient side) in the ER/OR. If anything I think the additional experience and Casper performance are probably the more important factors!

Yep - the first thing I did was to send a screenshot of the receipt + the completed status on Altus. I also talked to Altus and had them confirm that it had been sent, then forwarded that email to BCIT. I do hope they maybe found it but... I might just need to follow up and make absolutely sure just for my own peace of mind haha. It would suck to go through all these classes and tests and end up missing the fall semester because of this!

I believe they have started reviewing applications. I just got an email regarding my Casper test (I think there were issues with Altus sending mine out). Either they are starting the review process or they're making sure all applications have met the requirements at this point. To be clear mine still says Pending Review.

Best of luck! I took mine back in February - I’m not sure if you’ve done a Casper test previously but definitely do the practice test beforehand. It really helps to have some idea of what kind of pressure you’ll be under; 5 minutes per scenario is really not a lot of time! I did mine a week or so after my CASPer - it was… super awkward. Answering interview questions while seeing only your face as feedback is strange to say the least. In actual interviews you can at least gauge the response of your interviewer and adjust accordingly. I definitely stumbled on my words and rambled a bit!
