Hello!

Just wanted to start a new topic for the next intake for those applying in Feb 1 2021- March 15 2021 for the Sept 2021 intake at BCIT!

Asking this now because I was supposed to apply for this intake but I got held back due to personal reasons so I have to apply for the January intake now ? 

I would assume deadlines are strict, to ensure fairness for all applicants. Also, applications for the January intake starts June 1st (very soon), so I would assume it's too late now to apply for the September intake. But I'm speculating. You should phone BCIT to ask, if you haven't already. 

Did you already start your September application? Maybe you can ask to have your application fee waived for January?

Hello all, I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how to get a transcript from kpu converted into a pdf file. I've been trying to get ready and apply for this next intake but this is the one step that has me sadly stuck ?

Do you know which format the kpu transcript is in? You would need to send in an official transcript.

I had to physically order mine and take pictures of it and compiled it into a pdf. Sending an electronic copy wouldn't hurt too.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anybody had received an update on their applications yet. I previously emailed BCIT about the mandatory questionnaire and was told we would be contacted to do it during the last week of May. Just a little anxious because it's the last week of May and final decisions and acceptances will be coming out by June 15. Not a lot of time. I saw in the Jan 2021 intake forum that they didn't get shortlisted, so I'm wondering if they've decided to do the same for us. If anybody knows anything or has any updates I would love to know.

I'm not sure if you've tried this already but try to download it to your documents/desktop (there's usually an option to save it to your computer!), open it up, then go to File -> Export as PDF!

I second that, please post if you've been shortlisted and/or accepted! Feeling so nervous. I haven't heard anything either at this point (still says pending department review). It is a holiday today... so fingers crossed they let us know tomorrow! Thanks guys ❤️

I'm also an applicant and waiting for a response! I did hear back from an acquaintance who got into the program for the 2020 intake; she told me the program didn't even request a non-cognitive questionnaire. Hopefully, this is the same case for this fall intake and we can hear back soon..

We've been waiting too long! ?

Which intake for 2020 did they get into? Was it the one that got delayed at started in April 2021?

Yes, it was the one that got pushed to April! I'm praying that we get the same deal and they just let us know!

Otherwise, if they go over the short-listed applicants' questionnaires, who knows how long that will take? ?

Very true! But they said that all final decisions will be out at latest June 15. Not sure how it will be possible for them to make a decision that quickly but ??‍♀️ Just here hoping for the best!

Where does it say that regarding June 15? I don't think I saw that anywhere. Was that in the communication emails they sent out?

At least we're all in this together in our internet corner, praying! haha

They said it in an info session awhile back that’s the date the tell the people who are in charge of like submitting whose in and who isn’t into my communication
