Hello!

Just wanted to start a new topic for the next intake for those applying in Feb 1 2021- March 15 2021 for the Sept 2021 intake at BCIT!

I was planning on doing pediatrics or NICU. I just love children and babies and have alot of experience with them. How about you?

Oh my gosh SAME! I also like perinatal care so I was thinking of that too. I enjoy acuity, so I think I would also enjoy PICU or ICU.

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone knows if BCIT had more applications than usual like UBC did? (I heard UBC had about 860).

Someone earlier in the thread said that they think there are around 400 applicants. I'm not sure how true that is and how it compares to previous intakes. 

Does anyone know how many people get shortlisted?

Does anybody know if we can use our casper results to apply for the January semester? I took my test in February to apply for this September but I'm planning on applying for the January semester if I don't get in for the fall. Would I have to retake my casper test?

I don't actually know ? you might have to retake it again. The test you took in February is for the Sept 2021 intake but the last possible date to use a test for Jan 2022 would be on August 3, 2021. It would be best to email BCIT for clarification.

Nope! I hope we found out if we're shortlisted soon instead of at the end of the month. I'm so tired of just waiting.

Me either ? tbh I got accepted into the respiratory therapy program last week but I'm curious to see if Ill still get shortlisted by the end of the month ?
