I thought it was alright. Definitely not enough time to flesh out your answers. There were some responses where I wasn't able to complete my sentences, but oh well.

One of the things I found the hardest was not knowing what the evaluators are looking for. I found it difficult to not put in biased responses, while still trying to be honest.

Anyway IT'S DONE! Good job to the rest of you who did it today, and good luck for whoever has yet to do it.

I had a few of those moments where I wanted to add to clarify. But ran out of time. ? I hope that my answers were to the point though.

I tried my best to answer unbiased. I basically repeated myself, LOL ?

Good luck!

Hey Guys,

for those who have applied to nursing did u guys receive a second message from my communications yet? My status is still web app; not yet reviewed I applied Feb 1 around 6 pm. Some have got their next step that's like department review is anyone else still waiting for the second message that applied around the same time as me?

Status for mine is still the same. Just patiently waiting for now.

Probably not everything needs to be submitted by march 15

Has anyone here written the non cognitive quiz before? If so, any suggestions/tips/insight into what is asked that you can share?

I am wondering the same thing. Also is it a proctored quiz?

Hi everyone!

I am a little late to this, but I am also applying to this years intake as well as UBC and UFV, and I was wondering if this would be a strong application?

Currently have completed a BSc at SFU.

Chem 11: 94%

Math 12: 79%

BPK 205(Physiology): A-

BPK 325(Anatomy): A-

English 199: A

Psyc 101: B

My 2 Electives were:

Physics 102: A-

MBB 231: A-

As for work experience I have worked in customer service for 4 years as a supervisor were I demonstrated teamwork and leadership. I also worked as a Behavioural Interventionist for 1.5 years were I worked 1 on 1 with two children, as well with the Canucks Autism Network for 1.5 years and I volunteered at SFU as a peer mentor to students with Autism. I have also been volunteering as a anatomy tutor to students at SFU for 1 year. Lastly I have currently been working at VGH as a clerk for over a year now!

Super nervous about the intake!

Any feedback is appreciated, I feel as if I do not have enough patient care experience

Hey!!

Your application looks great! Good luck!!

You have a good combination of experience and grades. You have nothing to worry about !

I am applying to BCIT too and was wondering if someone could give a bit of insight on my chances of getting in this cycle

I have an A+ letter grade in all the pre-reqs (including Anatomy, English, Psychology etc.) & approximately 72 ish credits completed; cumulative university GPA is good & high school Chemistry & math are all above 95%.

However, the area I lack in is related health care experience. I only have a few months in retail & bit of babysitting experience. In regards to Casper, I feel like a did about average, nothing too spectacular. Unfortunately, no paid health care experience but I do have some volunteer hours in a Senior Home (currently not volunteering due to covid).

I feel as if my grades won’t be enough just to get in since the application process is more of a holistic approach, but I would appreciate some help / guidance from any experienced applicants.

Thank you in advance.
