BCIT Nursing Sept 2021 Intake

Hello!

Just wanted to start a new topic for the next intake for those applying in Feb 1 2021- March 15 2021 for the Sept 2021 intake at BCIT!

Is the Non-cognitive quiz only for shortlisted applicants? Or does everyone need to complete this?

Hey everyone,

Do you know the latest we can write our Casper Test? I have mine scheduled for February 28th and I am really nervous because March 15th is the deadline for the application. I think it takes around 3 weeks for the marks to be sent in, please correct me if I am wrong.

I would appreciate any help.

Yes, only for shortlisted applicants. My status now says "step 2: department review" and that application will be reviewed a few weeks after the deadline so I am guessing thats when the shortlists will be sent out.

If you were able to book it on the Casper website for BCIT, then it' fine. They will get the results on time.

Hi there, I just completed it and my brain hurts. There was so much to think about. It was tough but manageable. I just hope I did well on it. *fingers crossed*

Hello! Hopefully it’ll turn out great for you! Don’t worry too much. 
Maybe I should be worried because I didn’t find it that crazy?!? I was very relaxed LOL ? and so surprised because I had faced most of the situations in that EXACT same way as the scenarios 

I thought it was just like the practice. I didn’t get to finish off some sentences overall for a few questions, but I don’t think it’d be that huge of a deal as long as the response makes sense 

I am applying to BCIT nursing tonight! Haha

I feel the same way, I did the practice test it was great to help know what it will be like. Now, I am relieved that it is done. I hope to hear good news from BCIT soon! Good luck to you!

Thanks! Also, just to get an idea if lots of people apply with a degree..are you? Do you know if many applicants have a degree already?

I thought it was alright. Definitely not enough time to flesh out your answers. There were some responses where I wasn't able to complete my sentences, but oh well. 

One of the things I found the hardest was not knowing what the evaluators are looking for. I found it difficult to not put in biased responses, while still trying to be honest. 

Anyway IT'S DONE! Good job to the rest of you who did it today, and good luck for whoever has yet to do it.
