Hi everyone, I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving! Has anybody got any status updates as of now?

Are there any chances of getting status updates over the weekend? Has it happened in the past or it is just restricted to weekdays?

Has anyone else got any status updates?

It’s really odd how they’re giving out non-offers first. Usually, they give out acceptances prior to the weekend and notify non-offers and waitlists after the weekend.

I also have pending department review for mine. I’m really anxious as well.

It looks like the entrance requirements also changed for the next intakes. There’s no non cognitive quiz and now for future intakes they require both the Casper test and the Casper “Snapshot”.

I was able to see the course yesterday though. Maybe they remove it after the one week mark.

So I was looking at BCIT’s learning hub earlier today and now there’s nothing that appears in “my courses”. Before there was the non cognitive quiz which was archived. Not too sure what this means or if I’m overthinking LOL. Maybe they’ve graded everyone’s quizzes? Anyways, is it the same for all of you as well?

Do you guys think that we’ll be notified about our application status prior to or after this upcoming long weekend? I’m really hoping we can find out this week.

I just finished mine a few minutes ago as well. I found it to be less difficult than the Casper test. We could choose to work on any question and the time limit wasn’t too bad either. Also, no webcam either. I don’t like when there are proctors LOL.

Hey everyone, I also got shortlisted for the non-cognitive quiz. I have never taken it before. Does anybody have specific tips for it? Also, is a webcam required for the non-cognitive quiz? Thanks.

Oh makes sense. Well, I hope you’re able to get in for this intake! Personally, I’m only applying with just under 50 credits so fingers crossed that I can get in.
