BCIT Nursing Application January 2022

Published

Hi everyone- I thought I would make this post for students applying in January 2022. Please post any information that may be comfortable. Also feel free to share the number of credits you have, grades and GPA, etc. We’re all in this together!

Wow!! CONGRATS!! That's amazing??

Thank you for letting us know, it's good to hear that BCIT is actually reviewing our applications. It's hard to wait?

+ Btw, can I ask you what you applied with?

Thank you!!

I applied with a previous degree in Animal Bioscience from U of S and work experience with VCH as a switchboard/admin support clerk. My grades were not the best at all (had around a 75% average I think) so I wasn't hopeful, but I felt that I did well on the Casper test. I'm personally into self-help books which I found useful for the test. On top of that, I had volunteered completing phone call check-ins to seniors throughout the pandemic to see how they were and if they were in need of anything.

For my non-cognitive application form, I also explained how I worked full time for Public Health at the same time as completing BHS 1200. I ended up receiving a high grade which definitely helped my GPA. I'm very happy that BCIT doesn't weigh too heavily on grades!

I am happy to hear that people are getting in for the Jan intake. But it’s reduces the chances for Jan applicants too .??

You definitely have a strong profile!! You deserve it for sure? I'm worried about my Casper result. I hope to hear from them soon?

Have you guys done "Non-cognitive quiz"?

what did you apply with? Hello

Hi all,

I initially applied for the Sept 2021 intake, was put on the wait list, and eventually made it to the Top 10. Last Friday was the latest I could've heard back and when I was placed within the Top 10 they had told me I'm guaranteed for January's intake. I didn't receive the phone call, but I'm now happy to be confirmed for January. ?

Good luck to everyone!!

Hi everyone!

I applied for the Fall 2021 intake and was placed on the Top 10 waitlist. I heard back from BCIT this past Friday (September 10th) for a start date of January 4th!

I wish everyone the best of luck getting in --- hopefully you hear back sooner than Oct 15th!

To those who do get accepted for Jan 2022, I look forward to meeting you all!!

Hi everyone, has any heard back anything yet?

Do you guys think we’ll hear back by the end of this week?

I heard we might hear back on October 15. However, if we wish to be able to have flexibility it should be a bit early than that. ?
