BCIT Nursing Application January 2022

Published

Hi everyone- I thought I would make this post for students applying in January 2022. Please post any information that may be comfortable. Also feel free to share the number of credits you have, grades and GPA, etc. We’re all in this together!

Hello Folks,

my Casper test says delivered ?. Hopefully we start hearing by next week.

Hey there,

If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get the notification from that your Casper Test has been delivered?

Thanks.

On the casper account

I think we might hear back in mid- to late September. I would be surprised if we hear back sooner.

I looked at the 2021 September intake. They had their final Casper test date on May 3rd, and the final submission for previously taken caspers on May 17. People started hearing about offers by May 27th.

I think since our final Casper date was August 5th and final submission for Casper was August 6th, I think we might hear back this week or next week (since caspers from august 5th are marked now).

though I could be wrong LOL

Good analysis ! I am so nervous ! Anyone brave can call BCIT to ask when ? I am so nervous ?

Does anyone know how they notify you? Is it through the BCIT email? Or my communications? Or application status?

Me too! I am very nervous! Hopefully, we get in!

From the previous term! It was my status was more accurate!

Has anyone here applied before? I am applying with a completed Bachelor's degree and meet all the pre-req requirements, which I received an A for each course. The final two years of my degree were really strong grades-wise, but my overall GPA is 2.95.. I really let my grades go the first 2 years of uni.

So my question is, is the overall GPA going to make my application really suffer? Or do they look at more recent grades of your completed credits?

UBC looks at the most recent 30 credits, really with BCIT did the same ?

I also want to know I am on a similar boat as you. All This is nerve racking

From my knowledge, I know they look at your overall GPA ? but having a degree will defs help u a lot cuz they love lots of academic experience
