UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Wanted to start a forum for NP applicants for the 2026 school year. I've applied to TRU and UNBC. Background is in nursing station work in northern BC and primary care with 10 years experience.

@ERNurseHailey that's frustrating! Did TRU ever provide any feedback on how to strengthen your application?

They told me to update my Patho mark which I did and then remote experience which I completed my remote certification through UNBC and did some remote practice.

Nothing yet! A girl in my MN class told me she also found out she didn't get in to TRU.

 @ERNurseHailey your classmate received an email about her 2026 application to TRU? Or she got an email this time last year for her 2025 application?

Yes she was told she was not accepted for 2026

Thank you for clarifying. I'm choosing to believe that means that they are still at least considering my application! I live in the Lower Mainland, so I my TRU application feels like an absolute gamble.

I've also applied to UNBC and TRU. My TRU application still says pending decision... hopefully we hear something soon!
