Published

Hi everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for those applying to the CRNA program at Barry University starting January 2016! Comments, Questions, Concerns, Advice...

Also, is anyone in Miami interested in starting a GRE study group?

GaMommy81, Barry emailed you a form?

Yeah. The CRNA I shadowed signed it and I returned it. I was unsure about it as I was working on my essay and that is what they said.

I also have a application in and the wait begins to see if I get a interview

Hey everyone, I will be interviewing at FIU later this month. Anyone else interviewing there?

rnkay,

i am am also interviewing at fiu. I just got accepted to Adventist so I'm considering not going. I live in Orlando and the clinicals at Adventist are worth while because Florida Hospital is a large teaching hospital. Good luck in your interview!

Of all of the people who have already been accepted to Barry here, did you have your chemistry course and PALS certification complete? My chemistry class is too old so I am taking one this summer that will be complete at the end of July. I will take PALS sometime this summer. Thanks!!

GaMommy

I took a chemistry coursework in Spring and was provisionally accepted until the results were out. So its doesn't matter as long as you're already in the process of completing that prerequisite. As far as PALS is concerned, it may be a provisional requirement if you're accepted into the program. You'll have to obtain it before January when school starts.

Cool. So you had your PALS certification already?
