GaMommmy81, I talked to Barry earlier today and they said that there is no set date for the next interview. They will set up another interview date once they have received enough qualified applications. She said they were done for March and the next interview would likley be some time in April.

Cool. I wonder how many people got in for early acceptance in March. So I guess the head start class for May is going to be very small. Now it seems like there is going to be a big wave of applications coming in during April and May and the competition is going to get stiff. We shall see what happens. I am actually excited about putting in applications at various schools. The process is exciting yet nerve wrecking at the same time if that makes any sense. Good luck to everyone.

Yes, I am also applying to FIU's DNP program and maybe Florida Gulf Coast University in June, depending on what happens with Barry or FIU.

FIU'S DNP program sounds promising. You can still work for the first two semesters. The coursework is online. That is very intriguing. I may have to throw my hat in that arena as well. Do you know what their interview process is like?

That's good to hear. I was reading some old posts about FIU'S admission process and interviewing style and some folks stated that they were asked to interpret ABGS and 12 leads. That doesn't sound too terribly awful. I just don't want to be grilled to the nth degree. Also, I am completing my RN-BSN in December. I noticed that FIU states they have an RN-MSN admission path for the nurse anesthesia students that does not lengthen the program. I am just wondering if I would be okay to apply to the DNAP program with my BSN pending. Sorry to hijack the Barry thread. I figured people that are applying to Barry are also interested in FIU. Any information available would be great for sharing.

Hey everybody! I am just checking in on my fellow Barry applicants. I have some time off from work and I am utilizing this time to get all of my stuff sent in. Has anyone heard anything about interviews, acceptances, etc.? I just wanted to see how everyone is doing. Good luck to all!

Hi! I'm just waiting on one of my co-workers to proof read my professional statement and then I'm ready to submit my applications to both Barry and FIU. I'm going to apply with my GRE scores as they are but am planning to retest near the end of the month. I will let you all know when my application is in.

Hello,

I submitted my application to Barry but I didn't send GRE scores yet. I wasn't sure if they call you for an interview without them. I'm planning on taking them at the end of this month but I don't know if thats too late to have them sent in. Does anyone know?

You can send Barry the results as soon as you get them. Just let them know when you are testing so that they can be on the lookout for your information.
