I JUST GOT ACCEPTED TO BAPTIST AND WILL BE STARTING THIS FALL. I AM SO EXCITED. I WAS WANTING TO KNOW IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME WHAT TO EXPECT AT ORIENTATION AND ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCES AT THE SCHOOL.

Yes, it's possible to test out of the computer course....only if you've had another introductory computer course within the last 3 years. Other than that you can't test out. I'm very computer savvy and they wouldn't let me test out because I didn't have an intro computer class, eventhough the instructor didn't really teach me much, I did enjoy the class.

When I tried to transfer a computer class that I had already taken for my first degree I was told something different. I was told that because my computer class had been over 3 years ago that it can't be transfered but I can test out of it.

That sounds about right.
I wish they could give you life experience:sniff:, cuz i'd never need another computer course in my life!:chuckle
If anyone every needs any help with MS Office, computers, formatting a paper or anything, just give me a shout.

The class is pretty easy and an A is not hard to attain. The professor is very kind if she is still teaching this trimester.
Yes, Lucia Vanderpool is very kind and understanding, she made the class as bearable as possible.

I could have told you Orientation would be exasperating....in the extreme. Makes you wanna .....
Trans, I wish you would have told me that orientation was going to be boring!!! I am still p!$$ed about how boring it was..
