I JUST GOT ACCEPTED TO BAPTIST AND WILL BE STARTING THIS FALL. I AM SO EXCITED. I WAS WANTING TO KNOW IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME WHAT TO EXPECT AT ORIENTATION AND ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCES AT THE SCHOOL.
I feel old and I just turned 30. But i'm also driven to do more than live paycheck to paycheck and hold jobs that I am unsatisfied with year after year. Yes, the younger students are a motivator to do better and accomplish more. I do find college to be satisfying, but there is alot going on in my life right now, which means something is going to have to give.
Has anyone purchased books from the bookstore since we will no longer be receiving bookstore cheques? I was just wondering how the new process works.
It works very easily. I have purchased books from the bookstore since the disuse of the book cheques. If you have anything left over from student loans after paying for classes then it is put into a student account. You just go to the bookstore, pick out the books you need and use your student ID to pay for them. The amount will be deducted from the balance of your student account. Any money(s) left over will be given back to the student.

Hello momlovinschool. My experience at BCHS has also been a positive one and it is nice to chat with other 30somethings. However, seeing the younger people in their late teens and twenties be so driven to better their lives is also very encouraging. We can gain wisdom from all ages in our nursing classes. And I think that it is really important for us to encourage and support each other no matter your age.
