U.S.A. Arizona

Hello,

I have an interview for banners new grad experience. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this, what the interview process is like, was there more than 1 interview. How soon did you hear back. What was the program like.. and any tips for the interview! So pretty much any and all information that you might have!

Thank you, your time is greatly appreciated!

Anyone getting any calls from banner for interviews? ?

I did!

Really that's awesome ! Did you recently apply ? I applied to west in sept and east a few days ago. Will you be interviewing soon ? if you don't mind sharing .

I applied to West yesterday, got a call today, interviewing Friday!

FYI Mayo Clinic is open for applications for the New Grad Residency until tomorrow for the February start! ICU, ER, and Med Surg. That's my first pick, but they apparently get a ton of applicants.

Hey I sent PM

I haven't received the PM

My status for application is pending recruiter review for both east and west . But that's great you got the call right away because from what I read from this thread there a few people that haven't received a call. And mayo clinic yes they do have lots of applicants but because their cohort would start in february of 2018 that would put me out over a year from a graduation of december 2016 , so I dont qualify for mayo.

Hey I sent PM

I didn't get your PM

For those of you that applied to Banner I have a quick question. When you uploaded your resumes did you all just upload the resume itself or did you attach your cover letter as well?

Specializes in RNC-MNN & Operating Room.

I only uploaded a resume.

I got a call yesterday for an interview! Does anyone know if they hire in other areas like the ED or is it mosty Med Surg?

They hire in all areas if there is availability. Given that Med/Surg and PCU make up the majority of hospitals, this is where there is the most need. I am in ICU, a friend is in ED, and another friend is in Observation. There's always a chance.
