Bad Pop Up and PASSED NCLEX!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I recently took the NCLEX and after 180 questions it cut off. I was sure I failed so I looked on this forum to get some info. That's when I read about the PVT so I tried it and YES I did it right. I put in an expired card and got the bad pop up. Naturally I got upset and felt like it was confirmation that I failed. Still, I praised and thanked God and felt peace that it was part of His plan. Well, I did the quick results and it said PASS! I owe it to God, but I also don't think the trick always works. Just thought I would share my story. God bless!

I'm not in California

Congratulations!

I think you can just go to your SBON (after a day or two), type in your name and other info. (Go to SBON website, professional licensing, verify a professional, verify a license)

Hey everyone - I am devastated :( I took the NCLEX yesterday at 2pm. I finished with 145 questions (19 SATA). I went home and approximately an hour and a half after I finished the exam I did the "trick". Well, it took my money and said I would be contacted with an ATT. I firmly feel that it's in God's hands, but even still I don't want to have failed :(:( Can anyone give me some advice? Has this happened to anyone else, they paid when they did the trick but still passed??

Keep calm! I didn't actually paid because you have to do the trick with a fake date in the credit card. But I got the bad pop up and felt horrible. That was two weeks ago...but you Know what?...I passed. So believe in yourself and you will see you pass!

The trend I've seen was, in California you should wait 24 hours.

The safest way to do the PVT is to get a cheap re-loadable card or gift card and try it. That way it will just deny your payment once you hit submit. I would not chance $200 on my actual cc.

So you took your exam, put in your credit cArd info and it went thru? As if you could register to take the test again? And you still passed?!

I also wrote the NCLEX yesterday and took 265 questions. In 1.5 hours after (had received the Pearson email) I got the good pop up with valid credit card but invalid expiry. Few hours later tried again with a different expiry date and it requested a valid expiry. It then proceeded to block me requiring me to call Pearson vue to unblock. Any advice won't receive letter til Thursday

The card we use needs to have a valid expiry date now is this correct?

Not necessarily, your exam is graded twice. It might mean that the computer graded it as a pass but when the staff member at Pearson graded it twice and removed the pilot questions, it usually indicates a fail after 24 hours if you received the bad pop-up, but it is rare for that to happen. Registration/PVT still works if you put in a different expiry

HI everyone . Has there ever been a case of people failing after getting the good pop up?
