Bad Pop Up and PASSED NCLEX!

I recently took the NCLEX and after 180 questions it cut off. I was sure I failed so I looked on this forum to get some info. That's when I read about the PVT so I tried it and YES I did it right. I put in an expired card and got the bad pop up. Naturally I got upset and felt like it was confirmation that I failed. Still, I praised and thanked God and felt peace that it was part of His plan. Well, I did the quick results and it said PASS! I owe it to God, but I also don't think the trick always works. Just thought I would share my story. God bless!

Hey this happen to me today on 2nd attempt and im just still having faith did you hit submit and eveything and still got the decline message????

If you still get the decline message after 24 hours from the email that was sent after you took your test, you most likely (most likely as in 99%) failed. There is a 1% chance that the pop-up is wrong but most of the cases is that people did the trick within the 24 hours. (Which is why some people have said that they got the bad pop up but still passed). It has to be after 24 hours.

Okay thank you did you try after 24 hours and still get the decline messages I HAVE FAITH THAT ITS WRONG also how long ago did you test? I just test on October 3rd 2016 with 265 questions so I kind of felt maybe my test would be under additional review since I did have each question. I tried the pop up a few hours maybe 4-5 hrs after and got the decline message. i studied so hard i trust and believe in the man above and that this can be wrong This is my 2nd attempt I just have to still pray and believe.

Bottom line is either you passed or failed and this stupid trick doesn't always work. If you have faith in God than your outcome will be the right one, regardless. We can't always know Gods plans for us, but we can know that He has them. I know how you are feeling right now and it's not fun, but I can tell you are determined so whether it's now or later I'm sure you will pass and have that RN next to your name!

Britt_RN2016, I'm hoping it's the same for me too! I too anxious and waited later that same night and tried doing the PVt and got the "results on hold" and then the following day I tried it again and used my cc and I got the bad pop up where it tried to charge my card but it got declined because I don't thave sufficient amount of money in there. Now I'm worried sick and accepted that I failed. I took my NCLEX PN on March 20, 2017 California and it shut off at question 87; i had mostly SATA, delegating, put in order, some pharmacology but no math, a few OB with RH blood transfusions, medsurg, and nursing fundamentals. For sure PVT didn't work for me and now I have to wait up to 6 weeks to find out because we don't have quick results.

If you did 87 questions and got a bunch of SATA & stuff like you said, then you passed, don't worry so much. I did NCLEX RN last year and passed in 75 questions, but got the "bad" pop-up. So yes, PVT does NOT work. Also, I feel you on the 6 week wait. When I did my LVN in the 90's it was a 6 week wait for results in the mail. It was torture! I went from "I'm awesome & passed it" to "I'm totally stupid and failed". But..... I passed & did it in 75 questions also. (Yes, 75. In the 90s it was 75 minimum for LVN and 85 minimum for RN with the same max we have now. Somewhere down the line, they switched. Therefore, I passed LVN and RN both with the minimum 75 questions). Anyway, take heart.....its not real often people do less than 100 questions and fail. Good luck and keep us posted!
