I recently took the NCLEX and after 180 questions it cut off. I was sure I failed so I looked on this forum to get some info. That's when I read about the PVT so I tried it and YES I did it right. I put in an expired card and got the bad pop up. Naturally I got upset and felt like it was confirmation that I failed. Still, I praised and thanked God and felt peace that it was part of His plan. Well, I did the quick results and it said PASS! I owe it to God, but I also don't think the trick always works. Just thought I would share my story. God bless!

Thanks for sharing! That's give some kind of peace! When did you took the exam and how much timedid you get the quick results?
I took it last Friday morning and got results Sunday morning. Almost exactly 48 hours later

did it too soon lol...
I did it 30 hours post test. Is that too soon?
There's really no way to tell for sure. Pearson Vue doesn't specify the timeframe they do the quality control check within. Per the NCSBN website:
For quality control purposes, every NCLEX is scored twice; once by the computer at the test center and then after the exam record has been transmitted to Pearson VUE.
Tried it again just a few hours before I got my unofficial result. Surely it would have been scored a second time by then. That was about 47 hours post exam

Seems like most of the incorrect "PVT results" come from those who use fake credit cards. Perhaps you would have gotten the good popup had you used a valid one?
