Bad Pop Up and PASSED NCLEX!

Nursing Students NCLEX

I recently took the NCLEX and after 180 questions it cut off. I was sure I failed so I looked on this forum to get some info. That's when I read about the PVT so I tried it and YES I did it right. I put in an expired card and got the bad pop up. Naturally I got upset and felt like it was confirmation that I failed. Still, I praised and thanked God and felt peace that it was part of His plan. Well, I did the quick results and it said PASS! I owe it to God, but I also don't think the trick always works. Just thought I would share my story. God bless!

I used a valid card but I changed the expiration date. But yeah it may have been different if the card had been able to go through. I wasn't going to chance it though!

So I took the NCLEX yesterday and got to 230 or so questions. I totally feel like I bombed it and was super bumbed afterwards. I tried the PVT 2 hrs, 6hrs, 17 hrs and 24 hrs after the test and I still get the "good popup" I used a gift card and it doesnt let me go past step 2. I see people getting the bad pop up and still passing, but has anyone got the good pop up after 24 hrs and still fail in 2016? I am freaking out over here. I will be doing the quick results tomorrow?

Not that I have read or heard about so I'm sure you passed!

So you used an expired card or just changed the date? Regardless, you said it gave you the bad pop up - I don't think that is possible because you have to go all the way through and it either charges you (bad) or doesn't charge you (good). I don't understand people who say they got the "bad pop up" without even going all the way through with the process. Me and 8 others I know did it this way and it was right every time. It either charges you (bad) or it doesn't (good). But congrats either way! It feels good having that license now.

Well just going by what others say if you put in your cc info and it's a valid card but you change the expiration date and hit submit it will give you one of two messages one being the good one and the other being the bad one that says cc expired. I'm just going by what others have said would happen. I went through the process but it was with an expired card. Yes it does feel good to have a license!

Really hoping the same happens to me ... just took nclex in the morning and ... just waiting

Update! PVT worked for me. I just found out I passed with quick results and the BON has my license up already.

I used PVT and it was bad because it let me go to the credit card page.

But I passed in 75 questions, so PVT is NOT 100%. Pearson Vue still hasn't even admitted I passed because "Results Not Available" is what I still get. But.......Tx BON says I'm an RN as of this morning. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

If it lets you go to cc page that is not the bad pop up, it's if you put in cc info and hit submit and get a cc expired pop up than that's the bad pop up. So don't fret!

Same thing happened to me. It let me go in click submit and tried to charge me $200. Thankfully, it didn't go through to my bank, but my bank flagged my card and I had to call the bank to get it fixed. If I had waited just a few more hours, my quick results were available and I passed. This morning the BON posted my RN license number. I know some say it works, but for me it did not and tried to charge me and I, indeed passed.

Oh and I called Pearson and the person I spoke too, told me that their system had a new update that posted this past weekend and would allow anyone to register for the exam REGARDLESS of they passed or not. He was very clear the $200 was NOT refundable. It will not however let you register if you pass when your quick results are posted or the nursing board has received your results.
