Has this feeling came about any of you or just me. I have had these three weeks off of school and yes I have enjoyed them. I mean to think of all the time I have with family and friends, weekends not spent studying doing homework and the cleanilness of my house being able to come home and do the things I use to do. I must say the kids and I not being in school this break has been very stress free. I took A&P last semester and that class took so much of my time. I am taking that Winter semester part 2 and Pharmocology and American Government will be away again 3 nights a week. Usually I get a little excited:clown: to start a new semester but for some reason I know what i am in for with A&P:chair: and how much time I will be consumed with it. It will be back to hectic house, piled up laundry and just no time to myself. I am very motivated I just hope I can swing back into things and that my attitude changes. Wll I guess I just needed to vent a little bit. Hope everyone enjoyed their break off of school. Good luck with upcoming semester. Hope to be in Nursing:nurse: School Fall of 06 where then I can work part time and hopefully wont be such a strain on family life, although I am not too sure about that one either.
I am so traumatized from my experience with A&P1 last fall that I will skip A&P2 and not take it until next fall. :chuckle I agree that it was a VERY time and energy consuming class. Once you get into the classroom and back into the school mode you will be fine. I am taking micro and it scares the living daylights out of me because I heard it over and over that it is a hard class, worse than A&P Good luck.
Dont stress about other people's stress!:rotfl:
I was so nervous about Micro too, since I was told how hard it was. Guess what????? It was soooooooo much easier than A&P I or II! I throughly enjoyed it and scored very well. It is confusing at the beginning, some of it is boring and mind boggling, but it comes together eventually and you learn a great deal about what goes on in our bodies. You don't have to memorize 30,000 things either!!! Lab was a blast! Change your mind NOW about being afraid and you'll see, you will fly through it!
...well....as long as that jerk isn't teaching it!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Keep your eye on your goal! You have to stay motivated!!!!!
I know the feeling though. I've been going during the regular semesters and the winter-mesters, both summer semesters & may-mester....pretty much non-stop....since November 2004. So, for almost everyday of the past year, I have had a book in my face, and a stressed out family life.
I'm sure I've gained 10 new worry wrinkles.....lol
You can do it, just stay focused!

Thanks funtocare. Yes me too I have been going non-stop since last winter, I went spring and summer, fall now winter again. It is hard. I told myself for this spring and summer I will only take online classes. That may be a little break for me as I just do not like the feeling alll the time of not being home with my family. Hopefully I snap out of it soon becasuse the studies begin in 5 days. Well good luck to you also!!!

thanks for posting because now I have hope that I will have a shot at an A. After my impossible A&P teacher I should be able to handle anything, it couldn't have been any crazier in that class and I did well. I will study my butt off
Preparation for the demands of a nursing program is very important. At our student orientation prior to start of semester, we advise students to talk to their family about time constraints for the next few semesters.
As one 3rd semester said, "I told my children and husband that going to school is now my time. But when I graduate, that will be their time. I have to be temporarily selfish so that I can succeed."
It is, more or less, a contract that must be created and agreed upon by all members of a student's life.
Being in a program feels like forever. In actuality, the time goes by fast. If members of your family can agree to certain conditions during your student semesters, there may be less stress for you and your family.
On the other hand, there are times when school may not be the appropriate time due to family issues. A student may have to temporarily stop and return after family issues are better and /or resolved.
