Avant Healthcare

Published

I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?

I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.

For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.

Thank you!

My first petition was filed in August and denied in January, 5 months later. I waited 1.5 months to have my petition refiled and in the meanwhile I signed the reworded employment agreement and another ETA 9089 form. Now the second time my petition was actually filed with premium processing and today the 15 days is up.

If you had a petition filed earlier and they're now filing again, it means your first petition got denied for whatever reason.

I'll update my case here as soon as I get the news.

Hi SpidersWeb,

Thats exactly what I was thinking. But then I received an email from them this morning. They said that my petition is still awaiting final decision. They filed for premium processing just to get a result within 3-4 weeks (by the end of this month they say). Thats really good news to me because I actually thought it got denied. They filed my petition last June and received an RFE only last February (after 8 months).

Did they tell you why your first one got denied? Honestly I was getting a little impatient because all of my other friends who were filed last year already got an approval. They were all under a different agency.

By the way, congratulations on being approved!

Hi. When was your case filed? Mine was on march 27 this year. Hoping for a positive outcome. Any steps to do after being approved?

My case was filed last june 2017. RfE requested last sept 2017 got denied last feb. They reapplied me this march 27 with premium processing. How should i count the 15 days. Does tgat mean 15 working days. Im getting anxious

How did they count 15 days does that mean 15 working days. Did they inform you what steps to do after petition was filed. Hopefully mine this rume will also be approved.

I wasn't told why exactly my first petition got denied but I was left to believe it had something to do with the permanency of the job offered (the USCIS was being nitpicky). Now the employment agreement has been reworded and as far as I've heard, people have been getting approvals at a higher rate.

I hope you get a positive decision on your petition soon enough!

Chayong, my new petition was filed March 23 and was approved Apr 6 and this is 15 calendar days, so don't count business days only.

It reads on the USCIS website as follows,

Premium Processing Service provides expedited processing for certain employment-based petitions and applications. Specifically,
USCIS guarantees 15 calendar day processing
to those petitioners or applicants who choose to use this service or USCIS will refund the Premium Processing Service fee.
If the fee is refunded, the relating case will continue to receive expedited processing
.

The 15 calendar day period will begin when USCIS receives the current version of Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing Service, at the correct filing address noted on the form.
USCIS will issue an approval notice, a denial notice, a notice of intent to deny, a request for evidence or open an investigation for fraud or misrepresentation within the 15 calendar day period.
If the petition or application requires the submission of additional evidence or a response to a notice of intent to deny, a new 15 calendar day period will begin upon receipt by USCIS of a complete response to the request for evidence or notice of intent to deny.

After the initial approval I was asked to provide civil documents within 3 weeks in preparation for the NVC process. It's estimated to take a minimum of 4 weeks to transfer the case to the NVC. There's the paperwork, the medical exam, the interview at the embassy, and finally, they'll issue a visa (hopefully!). It should take about 4-6 months from initial approval to immigrate to the US.

I see congrats on ur approval. Hope to have a positive outcome with my case this time. I suppose you are currently working.. any advise from them when you need to resign?.

Thanks, Chayong!

They asked to know the length of my notice period in order to advise when to resign. Until then one must maintain full-time employment at the job mentioned to Avant in the interview.

I hope for the best in your case!

Congrats on your approval SPidersweb I am so happy for you!!!!!!

Can I Ask if what country are you from? Thank you and so excited to hear about your journey.

So 15 days on the dot, my I-140 petition was approved without any RFEs ;)

Wow! Congratulations Spider's Web. This gives me a lot of hope!

Hi , Do I have to take a screening exam with Avant even though I passed NCLEX and IELTs ?.

Sighhhh. I really envy those people who had their petition approved.

I was filed last April 2017 then got the news that I was denied last Jan 2018 even after the RFE. Like, it took Avant to inform me 10 months after. :(

Last March 23,2018, I was refiled via premium processing. Exactly after 11 calendar days, USCIS gave me an RFE again. YES AGAIN. :'(

My immigration specialist told me that the lawyer is now reviewing the USCIS request and will make a comprehensive response within the next 30 days. Yeeeeppppp. Another month to wait. Avant told me that the USCIS is questioning the most recent i140 petition and asking for an additional documentation for that. What is more frustrating is that I have a co-worker, who is also under Avant, got her petition approved after 11 calendar days with no issues via premium processing. Take note, she already had her nclex and Avant immediately filed her for immigration via premium processing for the first time.

I am losing faith :'( I begin to consider myself as unlucky. This year has been so rough to me. I am nurse from PH btw.

Did they inform you the reason for RFE again?
