Avant Healthcare

I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?

I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.

For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.

Thank you!

HI EVERYONE,

i posted a few weeks ago about if Avant health would consider me even failing the nurse assessment exam

A week after taking the exam, they contacted me for a few interviews, so the application could go further.

Once i did the interviews they asked me if they could arrange another interview before processing the application i send them the time i am available but they aren't contacting me back.

It's been a week from the last contact i am concerning if there is anything wrong with my application, should i contact them again ?

I've finally had my petition filed again. I really hope it'll be approved this time!

Hi all,

What are your views ion regards to the latest immigration policies? Do they affect EB3 immigrants? If so, in what ways?

Thank you?

Hi Spider web.

So happy for you. Congratulations. How long until you hear the results? Praying for a good outcome for you this time and indeed, for all of us on this path. Please let us know how it goes.

Thank you, Sember!

I'm expecting to get an approval by the end of this week, by Friday. It's just that this result might not be communicated to me right away because they refiled so many petitions at the same time and they're going to be busy with everything. Of course I want to know as soon as possible but I realize that in terms of the process it won't matter much (the transfer from USCIS to NVC takes some time). I'm hoping for the best!

Which updates are you referring to? The proposed social media account inclusion? What other updates are there?

Hi Spider's Web,

So in just under 10 working days the results are out? They filed for you on 29th March, right? Wow! That is pretty fast. Looking forward to a positive outcome.

There is quite a lot going on inc. benefits to relatives and extreme vetting, in addition to the social media account and phone history. I am not sure if it is just for the HB-1 Visa or all immigrants. I read it on CNN.

No, it was filed a week before, on March 23, I got the news on March 26 and remembered to update here on March 29, haha! I counted 15 days is up by April 6 or 7, depends on how you count it (from the day of the filing or the following day). Only a couple of days left!

There was some conflicting information about the social media requirement but some sources say it's only targeted towards people from certain countries. It was reported that somehow they'd like to think this is an effective way of catching potential terrorists. I understood this change would affect all nonimmigrant and immigrant visas as well as the naturalization process and only travelers with visa waiwers and diplomatic visas are excluded.

The H-1B is actually a nonimmigrant visa but all of these vetting procedures would equally affect both nonimmigrants and immigrants, so even us with the EB-3 immigrant visas. It's not that I have anything to hide but I don't feel comfortable with this. I don't like the potential of private personal information (religion, orientation, normal political views, etc.) to be used against anyone. I don't think these proposals reflect democracy and freedom of speech.

A friend was told to wait for up to 4 weeks for results. That due to the high volumes of current petitions, they are taking that long for premium. I am curious to see how that and yours turn out so that I can use then as a bench mark when my time comes. So please let us know and all the best. Fingers crossed for you!

I thought the 4 weeks is all about Avant because USCIS has promised 15-day processing in exchange for a significant fee of $1,225. If they fail to comply with their deadline guarantee, they need to return that money and still continue to expedite the processing of that specific visa.

I was thinking maybe Avant will inform me about the approval in 4 weeks instead of right away because of the high volume of refiled petitions they currently have.
