Avant Healthcare
Hi Kairiplasty! I dont think that having passed the NCLEX before signing a contract with Avant gives you an advantage over those who are sponsored to take the exam. If that's what you are thinking. I also already have a US license before I signed up with them. They filed a petition for me via regular processing last year, June. It took 8 months before I received an RFE. Currently, a decision is still pending. I received an email from them recently saying that I am eligible for a premium processing so I am hoping for a positive result by the end of this month. When did they file your friend's petition? Maybe because of the recent trends in the Visa bulletin, they are processing most eligible applicants via premium. By the way, I am also from the Phillipines. -shai89

Hi SpidersWeb, Thats exactly what I was thinking. But then I received an email from them this morning. They said that my petition is still awaiting final decision. They filed for premium processing just to get a result within 3-4 weeks (by the end of this month they say). Thats really good news to me because I actually thought it got denied. They filed my petition last June and received an RFE only last February (after 8 months). Did they tell you why your first one got denied? Honestly I was getting a little impatient because all of my other friends who were filed last year already got an approval. They were all under a different agency. By the way, congratulations on being approved!

Hi SpidersWeb, Is your petition actually refiled along with the premium processing? Or did they file a premium processing for your prior petition? Because I also received an email just today saying that I am eligible for a premium processing and they will file it later this week. But it isnt clear if my prior petition has been approved or denied. Regardless, I would like to follow your case. I think we are almost on the same timeline. Please let me know of the outcome of yours. Thanks!

Avant Healthcare
Hi aja! I think we're on the same page. Avant filed a petition for me last June 2017. They told me it will take around 6 to 10 months to get a decision from USCIS. I've been emailing them for an update every month since december 2017 (which is the 6th month). Fortunately I received responses to some of my emails and some updates about the merging with Jackson Healthcare. Last month I got an email from Linda saying they got an RFE letter pertaining to my case. I'm also from the Philippines. And I really understand how you are feeling. I got so anxious too when I learned that the VB is now January 2017! We might be 'current' anytime soon. I could only hope and pray that I finally get an approval so I can secure that June 2017 PD.

How to put multiple schools in NCLEX app form for NY??
Hi! Before anything else, I gotta say that this is actually my first post in a nursing forum. I usually do stuff on my own but this little problem I have, I can't seem to find a good answer anywhere. Hopefully this would also be of help to those under the same situation as me. So here it goes.. I've been filling up my NCLEX application form for NY state when I came across ITEM NO. 17 (page 2 of nurse form 1) where I'm supposed to give an accurate record of my educational preparation (elementary, HS, and nursing college). Problem is, our family used to move around a lot then so I was forced to attend 3 different primary schools, and 2 high schools. Fortunately by the time I graduated HS, we've finally settled down and I got to finish my college degree in only one university My question: how am I going to put all this information in the application form? - is it necessary to enumerate each one or just the school/college where I completed elementary and HS? -is the NYSED so strict that they'd make a big deal out of my pre-nursing college education even though I'm already a licensed nurse in my country and also with the CGFNS looking through my credentials (CVS). Schools I've attended: Grade 1 (RCCS) - 1996 to 1997 Grade 2-3 (MCHS) - 97 to 99 Grade 4 (MAM) - 99 to 00 Grade 5-6 (RCCS) - 00 to 02 1st to 2nd year HS (MHCS) - 02 to 04 3rd to 4th year HS (TDC) - 04 to 06 Sorry if I'm being too much of a perfectionist. LOL! I just don't wanna waste precious time in case they return my application just because of a simple avoidable mistake. Also my apologies if the same topic have already been posted. I've tried to search it up and came to nothing. Anyway, if u know of a site/link that can help, pls post it. I'd be really grateful :)
