Hi there! I know it's pretty early but I thought it would be nice to create a thread for all of us who will be applying for the Fall 2021 cohort, keep each other up to date on upcoming deadlines, and this whole process in general.
Hope y'all are keeping safe and staying sane during these wild times.
I know it’s a tad confusing how they work but GPA helps greatly so don’t underestimate that but it boils down to the points. A reapplicant will have 5 extra points than a first time applicant. So me coming in here as a third time applicant .. I will 10 points more than just a first time applicant due to my reapplication points alone.
unfortunately, I had a C on my pre req record which didn’t help me both application cycles. But I did the math and I’ll be 7 points above what they accepted last round so I should be good for fall 2021 but I know the 5 extra reapplicant points on top of last round re applicant points help greatly
I hope this helped and please feel free to ask anything else I’ll gladly answer anything I can!

How many points overall?
Can you break it down?

THANK YOU!

This, unfortunately, means that the odds of new applicants getting in this cohort are slim to none. After messaging with Cindy she let me know there are no slots saved specifically for new applicants and everyone is ranked equally. That signifies that if a reapplicant got their grades up on the 2nd try and now has a 4.0 and no HESI requirement - they have 5 points ahead of a new applicant who also has a 4.0.
And they're only accepting 160 students.
So, that sucks.
How many did they accept before?

I sent you an email. Hear from you soon. Thank you!

Here's hoping that we get them mid April *fingers crossed*!
??I hope so! This is such a long process!
Is it correct to assume that the sooner we get ranking calculations, the sooner we get acceptance letters?

It also applies for Spring 2022.
So, let me get this straight, they will choose the reapplicant versus the first time applicant and both have 4.0? Is this what I am understanding?
