Hi there! I know it's pretty early but I thought it would be nice to create a thread for all of us who will be applying for the Fall 2021 cohort, keep each other up to date on upcoming deadlines, and this whole process in general.
Hope y'all are keeping safe and staying sane during these wild times.
I just called. Jose is SUPER nice! My books are set to ship on Monday. Whew! ?
@hellohello I ordered mine a long time ago and made the appointment. I have my test on Monday.
@sgnursing I can offer you more specifics after our orientation (8/19). Right now, it looks like lecture M/W 8-11 a.m. Tuesdays a good chunk of the day for lab. Clinicals depend on location. But examples include Wednesday afternoon/Thursday day, Thursday morning/Friday day, 12 hours Saturday. Is this your first baby? And will you have reliable support once he/she is born?
Also, keep in mind that all of this can rapidly change because of the ongoing pandemic. Our cohort could be different than the last cohort and different from the next one. It's all a mess.

The general rule of thumb is the first two weeks are packed full between check-offs, dosage exams, labs, clinical orientation, and EHR tutor training.
After that, even in person, the only thing that is mandatory is lab and clinical. Lectures are optional but highly recommended.
Plan on Monday and Wednesday morning and then either morning or afternoon on Tuesdays. Two days of clinical, back to back AM/PM.
I'd love to blame the pandemic but it's always been a mess. ?

Yes. But the bundle is way overpriced compared to their original price though.

Has anybody ordered their drug test yet? Or would it be better to wait until August 1st?
