Hi there! I know it's pretty early but I thought it would be nice to create a thread for all of us who will be applying for the Fall 2021 cohort, keep each other up to date on upcoming deadlines, and this whole process in general.

Hope y'all are keeping safe and staying sane during these wild times.

Really?! That's no good. Maybe that's why they don't include the list of books for the bundle... ?‍♀️

oh... we have 2 access code cards. I just redeemed them. Once you redeem them, you will receive another book by mail and e-book access for all the books we received. I think the price is including all these.

Hey y’all,

New here to the forums & the process in general. I’ve been procrastinating applying because I didn’t really know what I wanted to do after HS, then I took a break, then COVID started…but now I’m excited to kick it into gear and get it done. I actually finished the degree in General Pre-Health Sciences (LOL!) so I have that going for me, however I had a quick question about retaking classes. 
 

If I plan to retake prerequisite and corequisite classes this fall and then apply to the program at the end of the semester, will my GPA ranking be based upon my original grade in those classes? Or, will the grades that I get in the retaken classes (assuming I score higher) reflect in my application? I thought I saw somewhere that someone retook a class in here and it doesn’t reflect until the next semester but I wasn’t sure..any help is appreciated! Thanks!

This happened to me when I applied for the last round of applications. I retook a class but it was after the deadline, now it won’t count til Spring 2022. It sucks but now I know after putting in for the third time that I’ll have plenty more points for Spring. 
 

If you retake it basically make sure it ends before or in the same time as the applications.

I’m retaking Pharm, Micro, & English I which all end Dec. 12th. The deadline for the application is Dec 15th. So my retaken scores should be what appears on the application?

Could you give a specific example of your situation? I’m not understanding how you could retake a class after the deadline unless you mean during the Summer. Don’t all the application deadlines end right after the end of the Fall/Spring semesters?

It was more about me not reading the instructions when I applied/signed up for the class. I believed they would take a 5 week class after the application, didn't read or email to ask the co-ordinator. That was my bad. Should have seen that it wasn't going to apply til next time, I was retaking Psych.

If you have taken the course by the deadline, yes, you should have a new updated score when it goes out. Whenever we get our new scores in October it will have my new grade on it and the extra points they give you for submitting.

Can someone explain how to set up the EHR Tutor? I am so lost.

Did you get the paper in an envelope from the bookstore that says ATI on it?

With 2 codes?

I had to call and thankfully connected with a very helpful woman.  She said we access EHR Tutor within ATI.

Does anyone know who I have to reach out to if my access code for the EHR tutor is "no longer valid", even though I just purchased it 3 days ago?
