  1. Class is online and sometimes lab, but only because of COVID. I’m not sure what the rest of the semester will look like and definitely not next.
  2. M-F we have something. M 3 hr lecture T 2-3 hr lab W 3 hr lecture Th 3 hours of simulation lab at Highland ACC F simulation again if its not your week for clinicals If it IS your week for clinicals then you go 2 days out of the week for about 6 hours.
  3. I just purchased everything through the bookstore. I assume we just need to purchase the EHR tutoring once. Has anyone seen anything on CB for where to upload the Ferpa document? I just have one thing left to upload for the phase 2 requirements, but I do not see anything on CB about the phase 3 Ferpa requirement.
  4. Hello again! I am trying to get a feel for my schedule this semester. I noticed we are registered for labs 2x/wk for 8-3pm or 8-4pm. Is this right? Seems like a lot of time in lab.
  5. Okay. Thank ya'll. I will just try to casually read through notes and practice the skills you both mentioned.
  6. Okay. Thank ya'll. Any idea where I can find a complete list of the skills? I seem to have only kept printouts of the first 22.
  7. Okay, thank you! I did not know about the dosage exam. Am I right in that the master check-off will ONLY be on skills we learned in RNSG 1105? When I look at the website URL below I only see a few of the 1105 skills listed.
  8. OK. Thank you! Schedule for what exactly?
  9. Hello, everyone! I heard/read SOMEWHERE that we would have a test on our first day over the mastery skills we learned in RNSG 1. Can anyone confirm this and provide more information? I do not remember where I found this information. Thanks, in advance!
  10. Congrats to everyone who got in! And just keep being patient to those who didn't. This was my second time applying and I got in with a 41.55. First time I applied I had a 29. QUESTION: The acceptance email was a little unsettling to me when it mentioned the provisional factors about having sufficient faculty. Is that something they always say or should we be concerned about?
  11. Hey there. I am sorry for what you are going through. I am not a nurse, so I can't advise you on that front, but I understand some of your feelings and want to give you some resources to help you emotionally. Hope I am not breaking any rules to suggest https://www.7cups.com/ for free counseling and people to talk to. I've have yet to try out the therapist part, but I've talked to kind people. Sometimes just having a caring ear makes a dent in your sadness. Even if it only makes you feel half a percent better, thats something. Another suggestion, you might see if your local college has anything. The one in my town offers free therapy and/or a sliding scale to the public. Doing a simple google search for "therapists offering free counseling" I found a good looking website, https://www.opencounseling.com/ . My psychologist sister tells me that therapists do usually reserve a space or two for clients who can't afford their services. She herself had free therapy for years at one point! If I were you I would be thinking in this order: 1. FIND FREE THERAPY 2. Get emotionally stable. 3. Think about nursing. Take note- the school you went to saw something in you. They wouldn't have accepted you into a rigorous program if they didn't. I would get my head right before making any life changing decisions like saying I am not cut out for nursing. You will get through this. I've been in dark places myself and I've gotten out each time. You will too.
