I took the ATi 180 question Comprehensive NCLEX predictor and I got a 79.6 on it. I want to know what other people got the passed the NCLEX and if it is anything like the NCLEX.

I was also woundering if the ATI helped to use to study for the NCLEX and if it is a good predictor.

thanks beckie

The second page on your results should say what % you have of fpassing NCLEX depending on your score. I think over 70 rates you at having a 99% chance of passing, but I can't be certain.

It's a pretty good gauge of your knowledge in the various NCLEX categories and is a good tool to let you know what to study.

I took it without reviewing anything to get a good idea of where I stood and got a 67.8% which translated into somewhere between a 97-98% chance of passing on my first try. The faculty member that proctored the exam said that those that score 62% or higher tend to pass NCLEX on their first try.

I got 75 questions on the NCLEX and passed on the first try. I think the ATI exam helped me focus on some of my problem areas. I did awful on endocrine questions and some of the therapeutic communication quests that fell under mental health, so I focused on those areas when I reviewed for NCLEX.

I thought the NCLEX was more difficult, but that may have to do with all the anxiety that it brings. I wasn't worried about getting my RN license when I was taking the ATI. With your score, I think you have a pretty good grasp of how to test and would just review content areas that you feel you need to work on.

Best of luck to you!

I've taken two predictors-the 1.0 and the 3.0. Got a 71.1 on the 3.0 and a 70 on the 1.0. Was told this translates to a 99% chance of passing NCLEX. Dont know if I believe that or not!

Sounds like you did very well. :)

I just found out today that I passed NCLEX-RN with 75 questions.....

I scored an 80.2% on the ATI predictor. I used the results to focus some of my studying, but I tried to brush up in all areas prior to taking boards.

Best of Luck to You!

I took it today and got an 84.7% which gives me a 99% chance of passing NCLEX on the first try. I sure hope NCLEX is like this test because it was pretty easy.

Hi mmmc2. I am taking the comprehensive this Friday and I am a bit scared because you have to pass that test in order to graduate. :o So far, I have been getting mostly level ones with somewhere b/t 61 and 63 for my scores. So I am kinda scared with having to get a 65 (that is what our teacher told us was passing). I am around there, but it's close. You said the ATI comprehensive was pretty easy?? Good! Have most people you know done well on it??

Hi Epona,

We only had a couple of people (out of 42) who didn't pass the first time. They passed the second time, though.

We had to get at least a 74% at my school in order to graduate which I don't think is too hard to get.

I have averaged between 72-78% on the previous ATIs which is a level 2. Never could get a level 3 (except in Leadership this semester).

If you are able to do the ATI practice comprehensive, do it. Many of the questions seemed to be pretty similar to the proctored test. Lots of maternity and peds. questions. So if you aren't good at those areas, review. Also there were several questions on Crohn's, which I really didn't know enough about.

Good luck and don't stress too much. Let us know how you did.

I took this test while in school and it said a had a 96% chance of passing the first time. I took the NCLEX and I passed on the first time. All I did after graduating was use the Saunders CD for 2wks before the test.

Hi all. I took the ATI predictor test and got a 72. That correlates to a 92 percent pass on first time. Not bad. I thought the test was pretty hard actually. I know the content, but I am not a good test taker. Our school provided us with Hurst our last week to help us. I am also taking Kaplan in two weeks. Hurst is good for content (which I have the content part) and I have heard Kaplan is good for breaking down the questions, so that is what I am taking... the question breakdown is what I need the help with.

P.S. I had my pinning ceremony today! CAN'T BELIEVE I MADE IT THROUGH RN SCHOOL!! It was the hardest thing I have ever done! School is over now, BUT the real test (NCLEX) is in a month! Wish me luck! :D

I think the ATI review was helpful, just for the overall review. I did not think the predictor or the books were helpful. I spent most of my time studying Lippincott NCLEX Review and feel I learned more by doing their practice questions. They seem to be less wordy and set up more like the ones on the NCLEX.
