Hello, All! My packet for 66P AD packet is almost complete and will be submitted for the October Board, fingers crossed. Anyone else waiting for this board? How has your whole process been? Anyone who has previously undergone this experience is more than welcome to give input! Thanks!
Also, can anyone explain the commissioning process to me from board to BOLC? I looked in the search query and didn't find any guides. Pixie.RN, any input? Thanks!
I wrote lots of articles! https://allnurses.com/member-85677/blog.html
They told me it will be about two weeks until an appointment memo is generated for commissioning, but I have also heard 30-60 days from another recruiter. We shall see. If I hear anything further I will certainly update this post. Best of luck!
I got my memo for Commissioning today! 1st LT! So it was nearly one month exactly from when I heard from selection. Have you heard yet RN.Mima or msnapper??
Hello all. Hope all is going well. My AOC is 66T. I just graduated through AMEDD BOLC and started in the ER here at BAMC. The process for boards to commissioning and everything else that comes with this is gonna vary on a person to person basis. Itll depend on your recruiter and your assignment officer. Most everyone who is excepted will go through DCC in fort sill before you attend AMEDD BOLC here at ft. Sam. If you aren't prior service please reach out and talk to current and or prior amedd officers as there is alot of info they dont tell you b4 one joins. There were a ton of people who in my opinion dropped the ball when it came to my process which deeply affected my family and I. Anywho if anyone has any questions at all I am here for you and will help anyway I can. God Bless
Were DCC and BOLC consecutive months or did you have to wait in-between? I think I read somewhere that DCC is 4 weeks long, is this correct?

I'm 66H Med Surg, reallllllyyyy hoping to get BAMC.
How did assignments work out for your cohort?
Where there many sent to Fort Sam as permanent duty station - caveat I know this depends on specialty / slots at the time.
I'm just curious on the trend you observed.
thanks!
