I called today to get some info. about the school and I was told I have to go to an info. session, with a choice of Tues. @5 or Fri. @noon. I was wondering if any of you have any info. on this school before I go. Any info. will help thanks!

No, but you can call them at 602-433-1333.

I went to their info session last week. they start 3x a year, March, July and Nov. 7/16 is full with 12? people on the wait list. they get first dibs for the 11/12/07 class.

The first step is to go to their info session then sign up for the cpa-t exam $20. the test is basic math, reading and language.

pm me if any other ?'s

the prereqs are algebra, english comp, humanities/sociology, psych, a&p I & II, and micro. the first two semesters are prereqs.

Does anyone know when their (Apollo's) next RN class starts?

I think it starts in Nov. One of my friends wants to start and that is the date they gave her. I heard there is a waiting list. I am in the Apollo RN program, at this time.

Yep, just found out today..after the one in July the next is in Nov...and there is already a waiting list. After that will be March.

Tiffany525, what do you think so far? what semester are you in? Is the CNA a requirement? they didn't mention it at the info session but looking thru the paperwork, it looks like it is.

Rating from 1-10, I give it a 4, It could be soooooo much better. I am in the 3rd semester also called the 1st block. CNA is not a requirement. That what was told to us at the begining. Everyday they change the rules. Some students can get away with missing alot of school and others get written up. Some students cheat and get away with it other still cheat, and nothing happens to them. If I make it through this semester, I will go on, Hurry up and finish and get OUT.

Tiffany525-- I have to say you nailed it right on the head with what you said. I am in the semester ahead of you, Block 2, and everything you said is soooo true. Some students are able to miss and nothing happens to them and some have only made it through by cheating and the faculty is aware of it and not doing anything about it. All I can say is keep going and everyday you finish you are one step closer to graduation and getting out of there.

Man...I thought I was one of the few who noticed the attendance policy taking a dive!! You are right about the rules changing daily. I guess it is who you know...Not only do the rules not apply to certain individuals, they know that the school wants the $40,000, so, they get away with it. I am currently looking into other schools at this time as well.

The ONLY reason I am here is because of the waiting lists everywhere else. I do admit that I am becoming frustrated with what I am seeing. I know that there are other RN students getting P.O.'d as well...:trout:

Apoloo has classes starting q 16 weeks. I am starting the second session in July, so as I move to 2nd session, a new 1st session will start, etc. You can take you pre-req's or you can transfer in some credits. They are, however, very particular about transfer credits. No online credits are accepted (unless they are online from a CC), and no CLEP exam's or test-outs are accepted. A huge price, but for those of us late(er) in life, it is worth not having to be put on a two-year wait list.

Does Apollo's Degree transfer over to any of the universities towards a BSN? And do they have a wait list as of now?

Thanks.

I am in the 1st semester at Apollo. It is a great school. Everyone there seems to care, and help. As far as the tuition goes, try $39,500 for the RN program.

WHAT??!! $39,500??? That is insane! I am a student in a BSN program. Our tuition is about $2,000 X 5(sem.) = $10,000. I think you are getting robbed!

Is it an ADN or BSN program??

They tell us it aplies to the University of Phx BSN program, but I haven't researched it yet.
