  7. good morning all, is anyone familiar with a new rn program out in apache junction? is it part of central arizona college? thanks for any and all responses.
  8. yes i saw that too. that was a real kick in the gut. they did say they were laying off nurses also. my sister used to work there in the 90's and she said they went through something similiar. she also said that they eliminated unfilled nurse positions. does anyone in the banners fellows program have any other information?
  9. absolutely loved it!!! that will be me!!! thanks for the inspiration in persevering to our goals. how wonderful this description is, i agree keep them coming.
  10. did anyone by chance make the informational today. i missed it, so if you have any information to share on dates, wait time etc. i would truly appreciate it.
  11. good morning, did anyone attend the informational yesterday? can you post if there is any new information? how is it looking for january, etc.? thanks
  12. i would check our state's statistics, our population is more 50% anglo, 30% spanish, 20% african-american, asian, native-american and others combined. also, your diversity in hospital clientele will also depend on specialty and surrounding neighborhoods. good luck to you in your search.
  13. i'm so sorry.... i am looking for good news in the onslaught of relatives coming to my house and expecting perfection for thanksgiving. i have tunnel vision when it comes to nursing, i feel like when someone gets "in" it is a celebration for all of us in getting closer to receiving a "yes". i'll go back to:tbsk: preparing for my guests.
  14. congrats, please keep us posted.
  15. your score does matter depending on where you are applying. i recently attended the maricopa skills lpn session and they said they were taking the top net scores, no first come first served, "the cream of the crop". please if anyone else knows of any other programs that are asking for top net scores please chime in.
