Oh yes, wonderful idea! I could benefit from this as well. Or perhaps new nursing students could "buddy up" with another new nursing student to use as a support system and study buddy when needed :)
Yes ..I think we need to stick together to help each other out and make it through! Hopefully we can get some responses!

In my program our nursing student council set up a mentor program where seniors were paired with first semester students (all voluntary for those who wanted to). Maybe you can suggest this to your student council. Of course allnurses is a great resource as well. I'm always willing to answer any questions that I can too, feel free to ask here or PM me. Congrats on starting nursing school :)

my school had peer advisers. 2nd level students volunteered. I was the adviser for 4 first level students. before the semester started, I emailed them my contact info and that I would meet them at orientation. I ended up meeting 3 of them. never met the 4th. I also emailed them mid semester and the end of the semester to wish them luck on finals. I also emailed them before I graduated to let them know they can reach out to me any time they wanted.
I think its a great idea and more should do it. I'd be happy to help any nursing students. feel free to PM me too
Good luck!
