I was just wondering how many of you are JUST taking nursing classes (not including english, sociology ect ect) I do have to take (9) upper divison units...about three classes before I graduate with my BSN, but this first year I am just doing nursing classes.

I'm just taking nursing classes - 2 1/2 days/week. I have a previous BS and all the other general ed classes met the nursing general ed requirements. I did have to take lifespan development class, but finished that a year ago while wait listed.

I took nurses classes only, although we could take all the co-reqs along side, I took them all ahead of time. With my working full time this was the best I could do. :)

I only have a couple of core classes left, so I really don't need to take my free elective now, but in order to recieve full financial aid I am taking an online computer course along with my nursing course. The computer course is part of a Health Care Informatics minor/certificate, which I am not sure if I am going to complete.

i'm in a BSN program where the first 2 years are pre-reqs, and the last two are the "professional component" - nursing classes and clinicals

I am just taking nursing classes, but need 4 more classes towards my BSN that I'd like to take before I grad w/ my ADN--then I can go straight into that program. We will see, tho!

I have an Associate of Science degree from the comm. coll., then transferred into the nursing program at the Uni...so I only have nursing classes. But even within the nursing classes there can be so much variety. Research, Professional Nursing, Cultural Nursing - very little "clinical-type" content but extremely interesting... at least to me...

I'm just taking nursing courses. I took all my english, science, math, etc (gen.ed's) prior to starting the nursing curriculum. Did all the gen.ed's at the local community college, then transferred into the university for the nursing program. Although I did end up having to take 16 credits of classes over this summer in order to have enough credits for graduation in May '07. Apparently the eglish, science and math classes at the community college were only 3 credits each whereas they would have been 4 credits if I had taken them at the university. So had to play make up with having lost a credit here and there in order to have enough for graduation. That was the worst trying to take that many credits over the summer terms!! Especially since I took 2 english courses at the same time because of them being online so I could be at home with my 4 kids. Trying to read 6 books in 4 weeks and write 8 papers was a real chore!! But I'm happy it's over and I managed to get an "A" in both english courses!! WOOHOO! Two more semesters left till graduation!!!

Due to the long waiting list, I took all of the co-req's ahead of time.

I've finished all required courses other than the nursing classes. So, just nursing classes for me as well!
