  1. CSI goes onto a Bachelor's too you know.
  2. Don't even bother applying to CSI, you'll never get in. Best one in my opinion.
  3. Whoa, I guess I'll be working at methodist!
  4. CSI now has a 4 year program and even offers a masters.
  5. I need it by September 15th.
  6. Yes, it was made clear to me when I went up to visit the campus and met with my advisor. But before that, I didn't know about clinicals. I don't have my first clinical until August 30th.
  7. From what I hear it depends on the hospital. And by state law they have to provide you with a break.
  8. Salary here is very good. With a 2 year degree, I can make about 60k a year right after graduation.
  9. Hunter isn't a bad choice either.
  10. Downstate is def. the best way to go!
  11. I heard that Staten Island University Hospital has tuition reimbursement as well. But I've also heard that nurses may get anywhere from 6-12 patients.
  12. Why don't you move to some place like Staten Island? Apartments are cheap here, and the crime really isn't horrible at all. We have 3 bridges connecting to Jersey, one connecting to Brooklyn. We even have a ferry that can take you to Manhattan and loads of buses and a train to take you to that ferry. You can always park your car here, parking spaces are abundant. There are many catholic/private schools out here, and the public schools are up to par with the rest of the city. Groceries will never cost you that much, we have a lot of nice places like Pathmark/ShopRite, even Costco.
  13. Thank you, this is a tremendous amount of help!
