Some hospitals pay holiday pay and others dont..Just curious if yours is paying

We do. Something like $10/hr extra. Schedule sucks but the paycheck doesn't.

We get time and a half for working a holiday. But you cannot call in sick either the day before or after.

Time and a half. Management just started new policy until now the only two recognized holidays for extra pay were Thanksgiving and Christmas, now thay upped it to a total of six major holidays

Time and a half, plus the weekend differential if you're working Christmas Eve. Plus, the evening differential if you're working after 1900.

double time for thanksgiving, christmas, and 4th of July. Time and a half for the others. we also get 3 hours of earned time extra for working any holiday

I won't work in any hospital that doesn't pay time and a half for all major Holidays. No way!

I'm salary so I just get the day off with pay.
