Hi All!

I am applying this year to Azusa Pacific University (Inland Empire Regional Center) this fall to start Fall of 2016. I was surprised that I couldn't find a thread for Fall 2016 Applicants so I decided start one for us. Here we can discuss/ask about our application or interview process or anything else relevant to this.:)

I was actually considering renting a house in the inland empire (ideally in north San Bernardino) with at least 3 other people. :)

Oh very cool, I may be interested in that too! Are you already living in the area? I am in San Diego, currently.

Hi Everyone!

Congrats to those who got accepted into the Fall 2016 Cohort and prayers to everyone who are either waiting or trying again next time. I also got accepted earlier this month into the Fall 2016 Semester! I am sooo excited and looking for others on here that would like to rent out rooms in a house together. It looks like you guys are already ahead of me :) I live in the Riverside area closer to UCR and I also think it would be advisable to live in the SB area or even Redlands because coming from Riverside is absolutely terrible with traffic and what not. Anyway, I know it's a little early for all this but I'll keep looking out for a facebook page in the near future :) or others who have the same idea in mind!

I'm looking to apply at the end of this spring 2016 semester as I'm working on prereq courses, so I've been reading this thread for information. Does anyone know how many people generally apply vs. accepted for each term?

Also, do those of you who applied and were either accepted or denied mind sharing your GPA and if you had any healthcare experience? I have no idea whether I'm even a competitive applicant or not or how to make myself more competitive. I'm leaving my current career and plan on taking an entry level EMT job to gain experience (I already have my license, just haven't worked) so it's a big risk to leave my current career to take a low entry level job while still working towards applying. Thank you so much for the help!

Hey there! Are you still looking to room with anyone while we're in the program? I just got word that my family would be moving so I'm for looking to room with 2 other roommates while I'm in the program ☺️.

Hey everyone! I know the thread has been a little dry (inactive) for a while but if you guys are up to it I wanted to create a Facebook group so we can all communicate about important topics like housing, orientation, preparation, etc. Can't wait wait to hear from you guys soon!

Hey! So I actually made one on fb but didn't know how to go about inviting all of you or sharing the link without having any of your emails. I didn't want to post (or ask you all to post) private information on this public thread. I believe our program manager is suppose to be emailing all of us soon and I was hoping I could get all the emails that way....but if you guys have any better ideas by all means! I would love to be in touch with everyone soon :)

Yes I'm currently in the San Bernardino area, right by CSUSB. I'm willing to look for housing near CSUSB, riverside area, north Fontana area, or redlands (all 30 mins from APU's IE campus). :)

Hello and congrats to each of you who've got admitted! !!!

Do you mind sharing any stats or tips that you believe made you competitive applicant with us hopefuls? Like does apu favor the pre req gpa over cumulative? Anything helps! I'm super nervous I'm sure everyone is and there's no break down of the averages of accepted applicants or anything on the site.
