APU ELM Fall 2016

Hi All!

I am applying this year to Azusa Pacific University (Inland Empire Regional Center) this fall to start Fall of 2016. I was surprised that I couldn't find a thread for Fall 2016 Applicants so I decided start one for us. Here we can discuss/ask about our application or interview process or anything else relevant to this.:)

I just receive this email:

We wanted to let you know that we have updated your APU Network Account to reflect your Graduate Student affiliation with APU.

This is a good sign right? Does this mean i have been accepted because I have not received any mail confirming this.

Yes, this sounds like wonderful news! Congratulations! How exciting. Do you live close to the IE campus?

I still have not received a letter from APU. But at this point, if there has been no contact (email or letter) I'm pretty sure I'm not accepted. I will try again at the next application round.

I know how you feel but don't lose hope. There is still time for you to get your letter or email!

I live about 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic and I will be commuting to the IE campus.

Im praying for everyone to get good news! They have been making us wait for too long!

i got accepted to the ie campus as well! Looks like we'll be going through this journey together!! I'm so excited! Do you know if there's a Facebook page? Or something? Lol

Hey ladies and gents!

Yeaterday I received an email and phone call informing me that I was accepted into the fall 2016 cohort. I can't wait to meet the rest of you in the cohort. Those of you that received unfortunate news from the school, do not give up! Your time will come soon just don't lose hope. I was also told during my interview that they weren't accepting science courses from Csusb because the 5 quarter units doesn't convert to 5 semester units, if that makes sense. Since I only used Csusb's micro class for my sciences, they were able to accept 12 units of my other sciences which came from either a community college or APU's online university, and I have to retake micro. So on that note, don't beat yourself up because the requirements sorta changed. If any of you apply in the future, your sciences have to be in semester units or 5 or more quarter units (from any accredited school, not just Csusb).

Hello all! Congratulations on everyone who got accepted to APU this Fall! I will be attending the IE campus for this fall and wanted to see if anyone else would be needing a roommate?

I was actually considering renting a house in the inland empire (ideally in north San Bernardino) with at least 3 other people. :)
