April 2008 NCLEX test takers, COME ON IN!

Per the request of janina08 ;) I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :) :nurse:

congratulations! anyway, i just wanna know which state did you register with? i'm also from canada and just took the nclex exam last april 19. but california does not have quick results online that's why i'm still waiting for the results...prolonging the agony i guess. it shut off @ 75 items for me, i actually started to pray on Q74 and it did shut off. well, i'm crossing my fingers to it...

Thanx! I registered with Minnesota. I found out my exam resluts two days after taking the exam. I heard California takes longer? i'm not sure. I know what you mean about the agony. After i left the exam center i was happy i was done but then i'd sometimes randomly think about what the results could be and it would just make my heart drop and it actually hurts haha. Mine shut off at 89 questions. I had so many of the select all that applies questions....i thought for sure i would've failed. But keep your fingers crossed!!!!!! I hope you pass :) and you will!

I PASSED! TOOK IT APRIL 29th..... FOUND OUT TODAY...... I AM AN R.N.!!!!!! WHOOPIE!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for hanging in here with me........ this has been the MOST HUMBLING week of my life, and WOW...... all the replies I got when I was at the end of my rope------OH THANK YOU!!! SO MUCH>.... from the PMI of my beating heart..... I MADE it..... onward ho with my nursing career! THANK YOU !!!!! TONS of help and best of all the support here......... You are all the best!

Hi everyone, please count me in. I just took the test for the 4th time and failed :crying2: I feel so disappointed and discouraged. I feel that this is what I like to do but at the same time I'm having doubts if I'm smart enough to be a nurse. :crying2: . I've been out of school for 3 years and have two little toddlers. I'm working full time . I've been studying like crazy but still couldn't pass the exam. Please help me where to find Suzanne's tips so I can be hopeful again. I'm planning to retake it some time in April.

I really don't know ..how much more I could study..I did all of Saunder's book..cover to cover and all the questions on the CD. What next? :bluecry1::bluecry1:

I understand how you are feeling, I had to fail the nclex 2 before finding out I passed todaywith 80 questions. It is a hard test to study for and some areas you just can't study. You may want to try Kaplan online program that is what I did differently this time. It may hel you with the type of questions they want.
