Per the request of janina08 I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :)

On the day before your NCLEX, did anybody feel nauseous??? Because I certainly do! I'm trying my hardest to swallow as much as I can.
Not nauseaus, but wide awake at 2 am. Good luck Mave. You have prepared more than enough I hope you are getting a good night sleep as I type these words : ) Good luck and many positive vibes 2 you.
And to me writing down and studying helps me to stay focused while studying. Otherwise my mind tends to wander off. So, when you are doing questions on CD micah, have a pen and notebook byur side and the information u think u need to look at it again, write on ur notes. And esp. if they are lab values or values that needs to be done more than recall or understand, and memorize, write that down too. U can go over it later on. I used so many notebooks writing down. Did I have time to go over it? No, coz as the exam drew near, I realized I had not time for anything, so I opted to exam cram. But writing and studying is good way too. Take care.
yes, write and review, use flashcards, mnemonics....i even studied in the parking lot before the exam, it actually decreased my anxiety -knowing i did everything i could do.
i took mental breaks during test taking, sometimes to deep breathe, sometimes to curse, and to gather myself....
Thank you moments...people here are so supportive..i did that moments study most of my time..but i guess it was not enough...its never been too late..but im angry :banghead:to myself for not fighting that feeling that day..i should have relax myself when i had the break...anyway, that was finished already..im now going to focus for the next struggle and hoping for best...

for your exam this week. please stay focused and don't let your mind wander off during exam. it can do plenty after exam :). sending lots of positive vibes and prayers your ways. pray, concentrate, focus and breathe. do get a good night rest.
you guys are in my prayers, wishing you the best:up:
Sorry to hear that :icon_hug: My heart goes out to both of you. I know it's difficult at times as such, but take ur time to grieve and then pick urself up and prepare for the exam like nobody's business. I know, as observers, supporters and wellwishers and partners in struggle, we can just say words to comfort you or give you e-hug, but only you guys know how difficult it is. Been there, it was PAINFULLY, painful. That's y, everytime, I felt like giving up this time while studying, I remembered my experience how I had sat outside the deck and cried like a baby, and it was very painful. And, telling some of my friends, they said nice words to comfot me, only I felt the pain. So, this time, I remembered that night, how I had sat outside the deck alone and cried holding the letter "failed" in my hand. I never wanted to go there again.Failing is part of life sometimes, eventhough it's painful. "Our gereatest glory lies not in never falling, but in RISING UP every time we fall." My heart honestly goes out to both of you guys. Please, take ur time to grieve and then start your studies seriously - whatever way it works for you, if it means studying sunday to saturday; 8 hours a day or more, do it. Many many good wishes to you. God bless :icon_hug:
thank you momenTs...i really needed that!
